Everything’s a culture war these days, men vs women, left vs right, it’s exhausting. Social media isolated us. I try to just see people as people and don’t care about those divides personally

I understand what you mean about the change in people, I've also noticed it aswell. I think it mainly boils down to a couple of things. The cost of living is so sky high still even in most countries and its still so damn hard to find employment everywhere you look. Even if you're somehow able to find something the pay usually isn't that much and nowhere near enough to survive let alone buy a house, continue to pay it off easily or start a family hence why the birth rate all over the world is dropping. Other reason could be if you look at the state of the world at the moment like Russia Ukraine War and the Israel Lebanon war and bombings that's enough to make you feel upset and depressed as you see the state of the world getting worse and worse and there's not much we can do to fix it. There's also a huge loneliness crisis that not a lot of people are addresing which is causing other issues like Depression and Suicide Rates to shoot up. I believe this is mostly exacerbated by the rise of Social Media and Dating Apps that have grown in popularity at least over the last 10-15 years or so already now. A lot of people especially young Men are struggling to find a partner and women are the ones who are makind dating extermely difficult for a lot of Men because they all have a lot of options, extremely high standards and do not want to date a lot of guys that makes less than they do, which automatically eliminates a large percentage of guys from the potential dating pool. If you mix all of these things together these are all the reasons I believe people are feeling this way that weren't problems for a lot of people in the older generations. Back in the older generations everyone was a lot happier as you could meet and connect with people a lot easier, you had security at your job, any job could support a family and easily buy a house on 1 basic income alone and things were not as expensive and hard as they are today. The simple is we just need to go back to how things were in the past, get off the news and social media and stop ingesting so much negative content. However its all easier said than done, all these wars do not look like they are ending anytime soon and you can't reverse the rise of the internet, social media, dating apps and smart phones unfortunately. You also can't make housing more affordable for the younger generations easier that seems nearly possible and hard to reverse. Honestly Idk what needs to done. Maybe stop immigration into the country, less people could mean more jobs for people already in the country which would lead to higher wages, more job security and less demand by people to buy homes and live in overly inflated rental properties. We could also work to get the women back at home looking after the children again as half the population working with the Men is also making it harder for people to find jobs alongside immigration.
You’ve highlighted the actual problem - it has nothing to with immigration or getting women back in the kitchen. It’s that people like you do not know how to adapt to an ever-changing society (at no point has society ever stood still at a good point, because there has never been a “good point” - a well functioning democratic society in which there are no people being violently oppressed). I agree with social media, smartphones and dating apps being bad for society but you’ve just shoved all the blame on to women and immigrants. Maybe if you take some responsibility and face up to your life’s challenges instead of blaming everything on other people, you may find more meaning in your life. The way I see it, society is as fucked as it is cause of greed, nothing more. Society operates on a basis of profit first, people second. Try wild camping if you haven't already. There's something very fulfilling about it and it also helps to put you into a meditative state. Explore reality and pick up hobbies you never thought to try. I think that a large part of why everyone is numb is due to the amount of mindless content we're exposed to on a regular basis. We get instant gratification like no other time in history.

Yeah me too. I'm in between jobs. I quit my warehouse job to do things in my terms working for Amazon Flex and it wasn't bad but now I'm just gonna get a part time job and keep working on my goals. I cut back so much on spending that I can make 20 dollars last a week lol
I used to feel exactly the same way, but then I quit gaming, started going to the gym, and got a job. Helped me a lot, I then got into university studying law, and now I feel a lot better. I understood that the reason I was feeling empty, was my body trying to tell me something, it wanted change. I’m not saying this will fix it for everyone, but it sure helped me get out of that empty feeling.
Makes sense, alot of people don't realize how much they are consumerists. So they don't realize how empty that constant consumption makes them feel. And most the media pushes negativity
Have you ever noticed a variation in numbness? At certain times of the day or week, perhaps when stress is at the lowest, like on Friday nights, do you notice a surge of empathy and love towards others? If so, it goes to show how serotonin affects your outlook on life and your ability to feel. I am not denying the harm the world can cause onto you, but, truly, maintaining hormonal balance can solve most of your ill-being. Do you do aerobic exercise? Do you eat junk? Do you spend hours a day scrolling? Start small and see for yourself
My opinion is that modern culture has taught a lot of us to outsource many aspects of our human experiences to conveniences. You want a relationship, go to social media or dating. You want something to eat, Use doordash/ ubereats or go to the restaurant and look at a screen on a kiosk and talk to no one while eating slop food that makes you feel worse. I think too much of our society has put in too much hedonism and a lack face to face connection and now we're seeing the price it has on us psychologically on a mass scale.
Loneliness stems from the feeling of not being loved or cared about. Get a pet, nuture iy with care and you won't feel lonely or emotionally empty no more
0:04 I would put it this way, and especially as a regular gamer, you'll be able to relate to this. The emptiness you're feeling is similar to the void a player experiences after finishing a game with an amazing story. I had that with The Witcher 3. Sure, you can still wander around, maybe stumble upon undiscovered side quests here and there, but the main game is over. There’s no real goal left to strive for. The core content, the excitement, and the fresh stimuli are gone. 1:25 Childhood and youth have come to an end, but what used to accompany adulthood in earlier times-starting a family with a wife and children-no longer happens for most people. So, when you do reach adulthood, the defining and significant moments marking this transition to the next stage of life are missing. Thus, as an adult, you don’t really feel like an adult, but you can no longer enjoy the advantages of childhood either. You are in a kind of arrested state, perhaps state of uncertainty. What remains, then, is melancholy and the physical and mental decline that comes with age, but not the rewards that once included a spouse, children, stable family, and the building of substantial wealth. Of course, there were men back then who didn’t have those things either, but there was still plenty of uncharted territory. We would embark on journeys by ship to discover new lands, living lives that were dangerous but exciting. The "quests," so to speak, continued, and the story didn’t just stop around 30 or even earlier. 1:40 Yes, we are living in a declining civilization, and I can hardly blame people for resorting to such unhealthy measures to feel a bit of joy or excitement, or simply to dull their senses so they can better endure life. Only a shift on a societal level can help here, as solutions on an individual level have become futile. If so many people in today’s Western society are unhappy, then there is something wrong with the system, and blaming individuals for their unhappiness shows a lack of clear-sightedness. 2:20 A positive mindset must have some kind of foundation. How optimistic or pessimistic you are also depends on what surrounds you, the experiences you’ve had, and how your brain processes the world. If the circumstances in life that inevitably affect us fail to generate genuine joy and positivity, then trying to cultivate positivity despite all the negative conditions is, to some extent, an exercise in self-deception. True positivity is something that develops organically, without requiring any great mental gymnastics to summon it. You either feel it naturally or you don’t. 3:16 2020 wasn’t necessarily the cause of many of the conditions we’re experiencing now, but rather an accelerant. Even without that strange virus, we would have ended up where we are now, just perhaps a little less abruptly. 5:10 I think the major advantage during the Great Depression and World War was that people still had a stronger sense of belonging. Social isolation wasn’t as pronounced. In war, there was camaraderie and a shared goal, and people still genuinely believed in their country and were willing to fight for it. Any suffering becomes more bearable when one is strengthened by the belief that it is not in vain. But today, with nihilism being so prevalent, everything feels pointless and meaningless to people. This sense of meaninglessness is probably unique in the history of humanity. People have always suffered, but suffering without perceiving a higher purpose is a multiplier for the pain.
I think the thing that REALLY sucks, is that this generation knows how good life can be because of the internet and social media. We can SEE the extravagance and lifestyle of the rich. In WW1 times life definitely sucked, but most people probably didn’t even have an idea that life could be different so they expected shit. It sucks having a carrot dangled in front of your face like we do in the modern world today, I’d rather there just be no carrot.
After 2020 life just honestly seems meaningless. I subscribe to the Sisyphus philosophy, but still it’d be nice if things didn’t feel meaningless while I did them. Like I could be hauling ass going 160mph on my motorcycle and it’s just whatever. Like sure I get some adrenaline and it’s fun, but 5 years ago I’d be shitting my pants and screaming and having the time of my life.

There's a thing called long term covid. Includes symptoms that can lead to depression which gives you that empty feeling. Loss of value. A weakness in the body. A mental fog. The strains are also extremely virulent and some people can get the disease and contract it with full symptoms 1-2-3-4-5-10 even 20 times. The more you get hit with it along with other illnesses can be significantly uncomfortable. Good news is, a good healthy balanced diet and a routine with exercise and free time for socialising drastically helps you fight and recover faster from all this nightmarish stuff. We are taught to fear emotion, fear silence, fear boredom, fear thoughts... We hate it because we prefer to blast our senses with mindless dopamine.
The economy of addiction, it's easy for the powers that be to control someone who is addicted
God bless you my brother 🙏🏼
changing in weather but everybody just wants to hate each other not look past looks or how we are its feeling like aliice in chains weather lately
The weather hasn't been a problem for me. I'm from Missouri and it's oddly been 50-60 degrees out still with no snow.
Try meditating to bring your attention closer to the present.
Avoid social media and short form content. Choose content that grows your knowledge and develops you.
Get into nature more.
We get instant gratification like no other time in history.
damn, just keep your clear of any extremely downspiral acts you cant back come from. I do therapy, helps a little bit, I also have some friends that hear me out sometimes, it also helps too. I do think having a channel like you do is good to get your thougts out of your head. ANother thing that really helps is working on art, might not be for you but finding anything that moves you and working on it, understanding it, creating, really makes me feel better. Hope I helped.
Thank you! This was nice to read.
Theres always better days to look forward, if its as simple as looking forward to going out to get food make it worth its while, social media is definitely not healthy to be in all day.
The 90's are over... peak of human existence!
The 2000s had like an after effect of the 90’s it felt. Then 2010 started getting worse
@@b__w_4565 2000's were great too yea...though in my mind, it was still the 90's until 2005 or so. It always takes around 5 years for that change to kick in, if you know what I mean. Cars, clothes, buildings, trends all slowly change within those 5 years
I feel the same tbh, I was thinking I m the only one
This is what it feels like to be in a dying civilization and people are starting to realize it.
The best thing a man can do is turn back to Catholicism only there can we find our salvation from this ruinous individualism.
Its getting older.. 😂 I noticed once I turned 30 i felt pain in my bones and then suddenly I realize everyone is not doing good the older we get and miss childhood.
Yeah you probably right about 😂
@ Im like HELP WHATS HAPPENING!?! 😂 But thats also me everyday
I try to do stuff to keep my childhood alive. Replaying games for a little bit has helped me wind down and get away from life.
@@AmaryxGamesYT Im trying to change jobs. Working 10-11 hours a day is not it. I get home and tired af!! I use to stay up later than 12 and now Im just done. I need something else. Been putting in applications but since its the holidays I feel they already have enough people so I might have to wait longer for a phone call.
Some will listen to the voice, the shadow...the daemon that lurks. It is your personal guide.
Makes sense, alot of people don't realize how much they are consumerists. So they don't realize how empty that constant consumption makes them feel.
And most the media pushes negativity

I am Rich, I am Strong!!!
Thy will be done!
Believe in Jesus Christ for Salvation~!
I feel the same, for me its my mental condition ocd.
I Feel The Same Way Im Lost & Dont Know What To Do With My Life Now 😞
Have you ever noticed a variation in numbness? At certain times of the day or week, perhaps when stress is at the lowest, like on Friday nights, do you notice a surge of empathy and love towards others? If so, it goes to show how serotonin affects your outlook on life and your ability to feel. I am not denying the harm the world can cause onto you, but, truly, maintaining hormonal balance can solve most of your ill-being. Do you do aerobic exercise? Do you eat junk? Do you spend hours a day scrolling? Start small and see for yourself
It does life sucks currently
Nice to see some people from the main channel on here!
Its not like we're having kids and leaving them in this sh*t world. Be happy that guilt isn't looming over you.
You're not wrong. Honestly I don't think I want children
We're living under an oppressive regime my friend, we're supposed to feel shit
My opinion is that modern culture has taught a lot of us to outsource many aspects of our human experiences to conveniences.
You want a relationship, go to social media or dating.
You want something to eat,
Use doordash/ ubereats or go to the restaurant and look at a screen on a kiosk and talk to no one while eating slop food that makes you feel worse.
I think too much of our society has put in too much hedonism and a lack face to face connection and now we're seeing the price it has on us psychologically on a mass scale.
It's been black and white since I stopped speaking to Ellie I can't stop thinking about her I can't I feel numb and it feels heavy I can't anymore
Damn I'm sorry man I know that feeling
How long has it been, though?
I had a similar experience and it does get better with time
1:16 lost ur relationship with a girl.. oh your parents. Oh shit damn 🖤
Me too man it feels dystopian and lonely
Maybe things did end in 2020 , but not in the way we thought
It makes you wonder lol
Seading love from sweden and keep fighting guys ❤
i dont feel sad but i dont feel good. i feel like there is something wrong or missing in my life.
True.so be the black sheep
Good luck to you too
Loneliness stems from the feeling of not being loved or cared about. Get a pet, nuture iy with care and you won't feel lonely or emotionally empty no more
The whole election social media thing is unreal. I put on my notes that the fighting and unfriending is what they want, and i got flamed for that💀
Dunno who you are but true words and nostalgic video :D
Love you bro
Depression is a real think.
Yeah man I know what your talking about strange times hopefully it comes to somethin
After 2020 life just honestly seems meaningless. I subscribe to the Sisyphus philosophy, but still it’d be nice if things didn’t feel meaningless while I did them. Like I could be hauling ass going 160mph on my motorcycle and it’s just whatever. Like sure I get some adrenaline and it’s fun, but 5 years ago I’d be shitting my pants and screaming and having the time of my life.
good luck.
That’s how it feels for me
The culture was taken over by the democrat establishment which resulted in nothing but blandness and disappointment
recently i was in the void , the only feelings i had were emptiness and irritation for 2 days
They put the sadness in the vaccine I think
Hope y'all didn't take that trash
I did bro, they said I’d lose my job man I gotta feed my kids man, crazy bro…
@@ej-me6ye it's crazy to me just how many people blindly bent the knee and bowed down to their masters and got the shot. I'm not hating on you, because we all make mistakes, and I make a LOT.
I just never understood how a man could willingly hand over his sovereignty for a little safety.
I haven't seen any evidence about that.
I imagine it's largely due to the economy of addiction and consumerism along with the pandemic that made a lot of people stay inside way more on their screens.
Same. I feel empty a lot, and everything seems crazy, People are going crazy as well im just trying to live my life but evevryone around seems Like something from a zombie movie never now when they gonna turn lol 😂
The ruler of this world has his teeth sunk in . Get away from this world, and I used to hate people who said this to , but here we are. Christ Jesus can overcome this world and take your burdens.
If you have a job and a place of your own you wont feel empty you will be too busy working to survive.
I don't live with anyone
Facts, this guy is empty cause his mini fridge ran out of Mountain dew in his parents basement
a lot of books and movies warned us about this upcoming futures. yes it doesn't feel like it used to even in other places of the world.
how about you try to get a dog? when we had one even though we didn't want one it made good changes. at least for me.
and we don't measure or feel time as unit like machine we feel it with new experiences. which when we get old we get less of where we grew up. and now with the internet and everyone is connected. we see mad shit that effect our psyche, and we see special different things that no longer give us the wonder of the world we had.
so everyone have to do this to themselves. try new experience. lower bad and negative news. try to fix dopamine born out. and maybe experience something new every week. it doesn't have to be expensive it doesn't have to be far. go on walks (if you live in usa too bad for you, but you can fix that, search about walkable cites, see how everyone live in better places and make it your goal to improve your city and make walkable, that is a new experience)
I can't watch this video when every 4th word you say is "like"
take a shot everytime you hear me say it 😂
Can a weak society stand against the government?
Can a weak society change the economy?
Most importantly…
Can a weak society evolve?

Who knew a pandemic, economy of addiction and social media/the Internet causes people to go wonky
We live in interesting times, you choose how you react to it
Aahh the little league days...😮💨

What is that gameplay? It's mw2.. On firing range?? Good video by the way!
@AmaryxGamesYT I think the the the world hasn’t gotten worse in my opinion. I think that people on the internet i your bubble are being more emotional. I know that you are clearly influenced by woodies gamer tag or schlatt I recognize this style of video. Some times in life you just have to roll with the punches and keep going.
I think it's called getting older?
How is he playing this map on mw2??
How did you get shadow play to work on iw4x?
I just followed this tutorial video on how to set it up. ruclips.net/video/kNAKyf_3tdg/видео.htmlsi=NPz3POe23nm0dILl
Covid can affect this and waste a lot of your time. Stay strong I hope I gave you a good angle of incidence to your quest. I too am an AR cod player... Or at least I used to be. Covid and Lockdown really messed with my Mojo in gaming... Which of course is hypersensitive to your mentality and physical health both of which Covid-19 can indeed affect. Much love. I will pray for you. Good luck.
i like your vid keep doin youtube get a facecam
Thank you. I do have a main channel with my face in it with a DSLR camera :)
Bro, go do some cardio
Want to know what hasn't changed since 2020 or 2000? Jesus, he's the same then, now, and forever. The salvation he offers and I have accepted has made me happier than any point in my life. I'm probably twice your age and I'm telling you Jesus is what everyone is searching for. His salvation is the filling of that hole we try to fill our whole lives. God bless!
have kids
Well, easier said than done for most.
