The magical shift from the mainstream media format of twenty second sound bites to in depth conversations like this one which serve to expose interested citizens like me out here in the political hinterlands to more personal glimpses of the previously faceless, colorless behind the scenes movers and shakers like John. It was refreshing and enlightening, as if I'd just had a conversation over the back fence with a couple of admired next door neighbors. If the Obiden administration were truly humanitarian, it would help Iranian citizens, if not Israel. Hi Jonathan, I am sorry, but you had the chance to properly chastise John for ruining the legacy of Commentary Magazine. I dealt with his father, and I do not believe that his father would have missed the Trump revolution so dramatically as John and his cohorts. Commentary has become merely a lost lamb without a direction home. The long term writers have spent too much time in the cocktail parties in Washington and New York. They have no concept of the Red States, and the middle class revolution which Trump has ignited. I had to cancel my subscription to Commentary because of their always being on the fence between the far left and the middle class. Perhaps John was brought up in a high class family, never experiencing blue collar workers, a family without adequate means to pay for inflated grocery prices, the high price of gasoline, etc. When John is on your show in the future, perhaps you can give him some elderly advice regarding his direction, the way home. I do not know how Commentary can survive given that it has lost its way since the early 2000s. John needs to jump onto the Trump bandwagon, and listen to the statements of Musk, Ramaswamy, Gingrich, DeSantis, etc., and help us to move America in a more conservative, responsible, and Pro-Israel direction. It would be wonderful if Commentary magazine could again appeal to the Jewish Republicans who originally were the loyal base of Commentary subscribers.
