@temporary4384 - if you already have a hub maybe add another to the other wheel, either way I recommend the mid drive motor I bought the 52v because that option was available when I purchased it

@@mystere1268 yh thought about double motor but will go mid drive to keep weight down probably go 1000w 48 that should do for me I'm not wanting mad speed just more torque for hills where I live your either going up a hill or going down one

@temporary4384 - this kit made going uphill so much easier and the motor kicks on right away

@amandacowan793 - do you mean where the motor mounts to the bike if so yes there alot of videos on RUclips that can walk you step by step. when i bought the kit everything pretty much came in the box except a speed sensor and I had to order hydraulic E brake levers also I would grease the motor before installing

I’m doing this exact build right now ( bbshd 52v ) do you have good acceleration/top speed and hill climbing? I plan to mod mine later to run about 3k watts but just curious about out of the box performance

Yes if I use the throttle or pedal assist it picks up right away I have gone up 1 steap hill so far ate it up like nothing same goes when I'm riding through roots and rocks at the trail I had my assist set to 3 there is a total of 5 assist settings on my system
