@@MaynardFamilyHomestead Thanks for your reply’s… mine is only 24 foot long but it’s a peak of 18ft. So was curious if the wall would be sturdy enough just using 2x4’s
My peak is roughly 16’ tall. If you want to sturdy it up a little more you could always add a 4 x 4 or a 6 x 6 post in the middle. Bolt it to the concrete with an ABU66 post bracket.
Good looking building!
Looks awesome nice job !!
Thanks!
Thanks alot for the ideas
Thanks for watching!
Have a link for the shear tool???
I sure do, you will love them- www.amazon.com/dp/B0000AQK7C/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_TCSZG2EP8ABF1C4SGQ4X?linkCode=ml2&tag=maynardfami08-20
No base trim?
What is the span of that outer wall? And how sturdy is it with just 2x4 studs and 2x4 purlins?
It’s 32’ long. It actually stronger than you might think. 2x6 would definitely be stronger, but 2x4 is plenty sufficient.

Nice barn.
Did you get a new riding mower?
Thanks! We did actually, it’s not brand new but it is new to us. We got it at a yard sale.
