    Thank you for sharing the first square.
    It seems easy and I am going to buy the kit, I love the colours and the booklet is really a bonus.

    Please note that the Original Pattern from Attic 24 does not have ch1 between 2 double crochets. I chained 1 because that's how l crochet Granny Squares. Please follow the original Pattern to get the correct gauge. Happy crocheting

    Thanks for the video.
    What are the measurements of your granny square? My first one seems a bit big.

      Mine is also slightly bigger as well 11cm because my tension is loose and I chained one between the middle shells (own preference). Leave out the chain one see if that makes a difference. If the square is still big, use a 3.5mm hook. I hope this helps.

    So in the first corner on each round there’s only one single crochet between the 2 sets of 2 double crochets, is that correct? I just want to be sure because there are 2 singles between them for the rest of the corners.

      Yes, that's right. First corner starts with ch 4 then 2 double crochets...

    Why is my square curling at the edges? When I make squares I usually turn each round, I find this keeps it flat? Any ideas?

    I’m confused because the actual included instructions don’t say to ch 1 in between double crochets so why do you do that? Am I supposed to do that too even tho it’s not included in the instructions

    • @WeavedIn
      @WeavedIn  Год назад +1

      Well spotted... There is NO ch1 between the two double crochets. I chained 1 because that's how l crochet Granny Squares. Sorry for the confusion.
