I’m glad that even after the move, Ludicolo continues to stare in fear at the devastation Joey will bring to his team. Edit: Also, it physically hurt me when Fruit had Lapras use a Water move instead of Ice on Krookodile in harsh sunlight.
Technically the cresslia that fruit killed didn't have grassy surge so it wasn't the "exact" same one that was first encountered. So they could use that if they really wanted to get it.

Been going through the end of a 3 year relationship, and these long videos have provided a much needed break. Just an hour to sit and enjoy some game shenanigans with creators I've watched for years. Knowing all the things that you have opened up about and work through helps me keep my head up during tough times. Thank you both so much. On a lighter note, congratz to Joey for the move! Enjoy the better internet 😂 Female: Amara
I saw that Vern's image wasn't updated when he evolved, and I got concerned, because Fruit always updates them when the evolution happens, however the times he doesn't update them is if the pair isn't legal or if they die within the episode. So when I saw that Vern was against a Nidoking, I was thinking, 'He's gonna get wrecked by a poison move'. I was right, but he didn't die from it. Im still worried why it wasn't updated, since Fruit usually updates them.
I was playing Pokemon Arceus, grinding for research to complete the beginning area to completion, mass evolving shinxs and Bidoofs for like 2 and a half hours, then suddenly, my game shuts down. It crashed. I started to freak out since I hadn't saved in like 2 hours, however, I found out that the game autosaves every 15 minutes, so I only lost like 4 minutes of progress. I was so relieved, but so terrified. I have never been so glad about autosaving as I was there.

Joey, four days is a long time to not shower. I’d suck it up and just take a cold shower even if it’s rushed. But the Flying clause should only be for Normal -Flying types in my opinion. Because one problem Fruit/Blue Nuzlocke had was the sheer amount of pairs that had either Normal and Water types. Where that flying rule would’ve helped the team composition a bit.
I watched this episode today and heard you talking about getting shiny croagunk in Legends arceus, well I had been shiny hunting all day while watching and had no luck. Went to the gym and came back, the first reported pokemon was croagunk and on my first try the second pokemon to spawn was my very own shiny croagunk. Literally foreshadowed it
too many close calls there lol but ultimately as long as toxicroak lives on all is well! loving the content fruit! names- male: rusty torch female: melody senora
Add a type limit rule to the Locke. No more than 3 mons of the any one primary type. Additional mons over 3 require you to drop a mon of the same type if you want to use it. Or you get a reroll in the same area of mons so you still get one. If something you want pops up, it becomes a risk reward decision. Less mons, but better ones. If something in excess of 3 pops up you get to reroll into something you can still use. Maybe for the cost of a token? I'm just spit balling here
As someone who had a 3DS that shut off if tapped on certain spots. I do understand the saving every 10 seconds 🤣 Fell a bit behind episodes. I do agree with the water clause.
Yay for monday! Hooray for new episode! Congrats on the new room and internet Joey! Hope you get some cool encounters to celebrate! The Water clause sounds pretty neat too, lookin forward to seeing it in action. Edit: Can't believe Joey killed Cresselia like that! JK, That's unfortunate, but not the first time I've seen a distracted soul link encounter end like that :
Hey Joey you can get a shiny stone by crossing the lake of outrage with the rotom bike so when and if you ever get togetic BADABOOM Well never mind fruit is absolutely THROWING lmao rip brother rip togekiss creselia would have been a not beater pair T_T
So what if, for a Flying clause, upon encounter, if you notice that the flying type mon in question has a USABLE primary typing, you can choose to intact the flying clause. By doing so, you can have a flying type on your team and still search for that primary typing. For example. Joey shockingly doesn't kill a Delibird (Ice/Flying) by using spark and catches it by hucking his masterball at it because it's joey. Mr. Fruit can still add an Ice type mon to his team because, in this case, Delibird is only considered flying type and no longer considered an Ice type. Allowing dad- I mean Fruit to have an Ice type on his team even if the two mon are paired.
For flying clause what if you do it as a token esek type thing after each badge you get gives you a token to use the flying clause so if you saved all 8 you could have a potential for 8 flying clauses
For the flying clause, since there are so few primary flying pokémon I think you should just do if it’s flying at all, then that is the primary all the time
This just reminds me of an experiment I we did in the 6th grade. Everyone always assumes a coin flip is 50/50, but when flipping an ACTUAL coin it will land on 'Heads' the majority of the time. I know that probably doesn't apply to an app....but MAYBE IT DOES!!!
Easy water clause fix, If it's something that can only live in water its gotta be water type (Sharkpedo, corsala etc.) if it can live outside of water then it can flex (Starmie, slowbro, politoad)
Your lockes makes weekends a lot less fun. I always forget no new episodes on the weekend and keep refreshing wondering why nothings showing up. Making me look forward to weekdays is quite the accomplishment. Also congratz on the move Joey. Name a pokemon Nabi. Male or female.
Maybe I’m crazy, but I think you should use a random number generator 1-3 and designate one of the numbers as a miss (so a 67% chance) for the water dual types to account for the Pokémon that are water only, but that’s just my 2 cents. Loving the series! Keep up the good work!
Hey just a fun story for you Joey. Me and girlfriend moved into a new place recently and on the first night I tried to take a shower, I turned it to hot and it was ice cold. I said whatever and showered cold and it sucked. The next morning my girlfriend showered cold. We both had heavy work weeks approaching so no time to contact the landlord about it. After I worked like three 12 hour days I said screw it im cold showering again. This time I turned the knob to cold because why not, it’s gonna be cold anyway. …The water came out boiling hot.

You should still roll on monotype waters, and in the off chance that app graces you with its second type you get to swap one of your other mons typings.

The flying clause can be re-invoked each time a pair dies if neither Pokémon is a flying type, and the clause is not currently in effect on another Pokémon. The decision to apply the clause must be made no later than the time that the new team is decided; if you don't apply the clause, you choose to miss out until next time. The flying clause cannot be invoked if there is already a flying type Pokémon on the team (primary or secondary). Allowing the clause to be used when a pair dies makes it timely, yet rare. You don't have to remember if you've already used it since the last gym or whatever. Additionally, the clause is only relevant when building your team, which consistently happens when a pair dies. Limiting its use to when a non-flying pair dies prevents you from cycling through your flying Pokémon too freely. It's acceptable for this to happen to water type Pokémon, but the water problem is different to the flying problem. The idea is to prevent the clause from being overused. Admittedly, this restriction is the most arbitrary; if this idea were to be adjusted, I suggest starting here. Limiting the use of the clause to when there are no other flying types on the team is meant to preserve the spirit of the type limitations. The clause acknowledges that most flying types have the flying type secondary. If it were the primary type, then they would be limited just like everything else. The clause permits them like primaries, and the restriction limits them like primaries. Restricting the window during which the clause can be initially applied and limiting the use of the clause to when it is not already in affect are meant to simplify things by keeping you from stockpiling. As you're building your team, don't think too hard about whether or not to use the clause. If you want to use a flying type right now, go for it. If you don't, whatever. Stockpiling flying-modified Pokémon and available "flying tokens" would get hard to keep track of and could frustrate the system unpredictably. TL; DR, Read the first paragraph at least. Hey guys I think I have an idea for the clauses cause I really think they will just make this and all other series much better and a little less scuffed as much as I love the scuffness lmao I'd say the water clause with heads and tails is great and makes sense because every single encounter seems to be 50/50 water or other however as we saw with the coin flips per this episode it can be pretty annoying when none of them go the right way so what I propose is that every other gym for the water clause you get a sort of token or whatever you want to call it so that instead of flipping a coin on the encounter you can simply choose hey lets use this token to use its other type or if thats too easy you can use the token as another chance for a coin flip on an existing pair or an encounter however you want to do that but I feel thats a good strategy for that now for the flying clause I'd say after every single gym you get a flying token or whatever you want to call it and for that one you can simply use to say hey I say this mon is not flying but its the secondary typing super simple, they can stack and you can choose to use them whenever or you have to call it as you catch it thats up to you either way its the same deal now heres the kicker, you cannot use both tokens on a single encounter, so for example you get a water primary and a flying primary in the same pair only one can be switched to the secondary typing, the odds of that are pretty low tho so thats just in case but that I feel is a pretty good way to keep it organized and keep the honesty of the locke in tact however I know how you guys are with keeping track of things so use this as you see fit and as much as you guys can actually remember lmao
***CLAUSE OPTION*** Call a "Team Type" Clause. That way you don't have to find out what's in the game and randomly eliminate a Pokémon. Team Type is that once you have enough of a single type to build a full team (6) you can use the clause. That way it still has the random factor, you still have to deal with sorting things out, and you don't just get to build the perfect team. This applies to all types and no extra research required.
You might still need to limit how many Pokémon of each type you apply the clause to. If all six water types suddenly become usable, you would still get to just build a good team. But I do like how this idea would no longer encourage them to avoid catching abundant types.

Hey guys I think I have an idea for the clauses cause I really think they will just make this and all other series much better and a little less scuffed as much as I love the scuffness lmao
I'd say the water clause with heads and tails is great and makes sense because every single encounter seems to be 50/50 water or other however as we saw with the coin flips per this episode it can be pretty annoying when none of them go the right way so what I propose is that every other gym for the water clause you get a sort of token or whatever you want to call it so that instead of flipping a coin on the encounter you can simply choose hey lets use this token to use its other type or if thats too easy you can use the token as another chance for a coin flip on an existing pair or an encounter however you want to do that but I feel thats a good strategy for that
now for the flying clause I'd say after every single gym you get a flying token or whatever you want to call it and for that one you can simply use to say hey I say this mon is not flying but its the secondary typing super simple, they can stack and you can choose to use them whenever or you have to call it as you catch it thats up to you either way its the same deal
now heres the kicker, you cannot use both tokens on a single encounter, so for example you get a water primary and a flying primary in the same pair only one can be switched to the secondary typing, the odds of that are pretty low tho so thats just in case but that I feel is a pretty good way to keep it organized and keep the honesty of the locke in tact however I know how you guys are with keeping track of things so use this as you see fit and as much as you guys can actually remember lmao
