    The thing about living in Cali is most of the homes here at old, like 50+ years old. You’ll be paying $900k+ for a fixer upper. We don’t have as much land for new builds like the South or Midwest 🙄

    • @ThePresentTimeNow
      @ThePresentTimeNow Год назад +1

      I’ve noticed that alot. The homes are much older. I’ve seen a literal shack. The house was tiny and extremely dated. It was also the home of a hoarder. They were asking for $800k. Unbelievable.

    I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and the city of Alameda is a very nice compact little man made island. Mostly residential, but Park St is where the action is - mom and pop businesses, restaurants, etc. It's a upper middle class white town, with positive white culture. And it has been gentrified by young families white, interracial and Asian mainly who are moving in and paying astronomical prices for the well built old houses as elders sell their homes and create their retirement nest egg. Alameda also has a small but tight knit black community that has old culture as well. It's worth living here if you can afford to, because it's central. Oakland is minutes away as well as San Francisco, etc.

    We need a video of black K through 8th schools. I might be moving to LA within the next 20 months. I heard LA is very "unblack." I want my kids to be exposed to other black kids. Alameda lol, my 2nd kid was conceived in an Air B&B in that city 😄 It was a decent city lowkey

      Every city has an area that is "unblack" LOL There are plenty of excellent schools with black kids that come from upper middle class families with parents who are lawyers, doctors, and entrepreneurs. I grew up in those schools in those areas. I'm also a realtor and will be happy to help. I will be happy to help :)

      @@truthhurts7045 Dallas-Fort Worth area is my number 1 choice and favorite place in TX b/c of the diversity (all types of people and all types of black people to include AA, Caribbean, African, etc.) cost of living although getting higher it is still cheaper than California, and high evidence of black excellence, etc. Houston is not for me, but it is a thriving city with all the above. Atlanta is pretty awesome too although it is becoming super saturated. There is an area right outside of Columbia SC called Sandhills where the affluent blacks live. Many retired and active military (Ft Jackson is in Columbia), Government workers, Business owners, Etc. Cost of living is super low and you get soooo much for your money especially compared to the other areas I mentioned above. The winter weather is still decent enough where you don't need a real winter coat. My ex-husband and oldest daughter live there. You can experience so much in just one state. If you move there you definitely have to come in heavy with a nice and strong bag to thrive.

    Im confused how Alameda, View Park, Baldwin abd Ladera arent considered wealthier than PG county when the average black home price is double plus than PG county. Wealth isnt just salary. If your home you own is worth 2 million thats part of your wealth.
