- No pun intended, but Tony Khan has been on a rampage on Twitter recently taking shots at Vince McMahon, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, and many others. Dr. Chris Featherstone reads out some of his Tweets in this edition of The Wrestling Outlaws. EC3 is in disbelief at the contents of some of Khan's social media content. Moreover, Russo goes so far as to call TK's social media activity pathetic and says the locker room is laughing at him. EC3 has also heard that there is a lack of respect for Tony Khan.

Tony eating crow was just icing on the cake for the way he made a big deal about his show beating NXT last year.

When the WWF made their first push, Vince was just an announcer. He had Captain Lou on Letterman, Roddy Piper on MTV, Jesse Ventura on Costas, Bobby Heenan on various interviews, and Hogan on SNL. He had his talent promote the WWF.

Tony wants to be everywhere, on interviews, The promotional tours, podcasts etc. He probably practiced interviewing way more than thinking booking scenarios

Tony probably thought that just because a few years ago when Dynamite started on Wednesdays they sent NXT to Tuesday nights. But the difference is at the time NXT was being booked as entirely a developmental/C Show. And ironically a lot of the talent that was in NXT at that time like Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly is now in AEW.
Bobby isn't in AEW anymore. Kyle's out with an injury and no words on his situation since then.
No, it was being booked like ROH with some super indies stirred in. The marks were super happy. But it wasnt a “developmental”. It wasnt serving it’s purpose. So they gutted it.

@@EnigmatikNeko What happened to WCW was AOL merged with TBS, cutting Ted Turner's control from 50% to 33%, hence he was simply outvoted and the AOL people cancelled WCW. WCW in its dying days was getting 2.0 ratings. AEW is getting roughly 0.7 ratings. To this day I don't think any show on TNT has beaten WCW's lowest rating. It was nothing to do with Russo, Hogan or anyone that you have ever seen on screen or heard of behind the scenes. It was corporate assholes who hated wrestling and wanted it gone from their company.

I’ve tried watching AEW, it’s garbage. The wrestling, with the exception of MJF and a few others is laughable and embarrassing. Every storyline that should last for 6 months, last for 6 days! As a fan, how can you be excited when a storyline disappears after a week or two? His booking is horrible, why he excited for a feud, if it is only gonna last a month at best? I like the more edgy approach AEW has, but the booking and storylines make it a waste of my time and interest.

TK needs to do what Ted Turner did, just bankroll the company. Someone should be on his creative team (that is not an active wrestler) aka not The Elite for example. He has guys like Arn Anderson and Jake Roberts, veterans backstage that should be easily be able handle any locker room drama or what maybe. Problem is TK wants to do EVERYTHING himself and wants to befriend every member of the roster. Which is fine, out of the work place but during it just can't work out hence why some talent have said "People abuse his kindness".

At first I thought TK was just promoting his shows by trash talking. But then he took it too far with how he handled the ratings. TK needs to rely on his PR.
