Maayan , is there any video that shows more of your singing performance of Handel’s Messiah ? Which I believe is the greatest & most holy performance for any “sopranista”/ counter tenor !❤
This was the opening song at the very first recital I attended as a teen after paying for my own ticket. I'll never forget the feeling of sitting in that grand old theatre, thinking I was lucky my parents had fled to that country. I hardly remember the music beyond that opening tune, but within a year I had seen five operas too.
Subscribed the instant you came up. Fun to see the beauty of other sopranistas, as I'm one too, and the potential of hard work and training paying off 😃
As someone who has spent a lifetime performing with symphonies and in operas, I know that many conductors leave the podium during rehearsals and go down into the house to chck accoustics, balance, and other considerations. Your comment was not only snide, but inaccurate,
@@zeldadvoretzky5913 Not "snide," but "funny." See ... like he went to the bathroom in that short time? And, no, a good Baroque ensemble does not need a conductor, just a leader: a leader like the concertmaster or like whoever led ensembles before Berlioz. Read your music history, hon.
It depends.. If all the people are really in the same musical idea .As well about the number of musicians. The rule is more than thirteen people is better to have...a conductor..
Handel is rejoicing in heaven that such an accomplished singer is performing his greatest work. Wonderful
Handel would be happy to hear you sing👌❤

Love this rendition and performance (even if "just" a rehearsal"). Gotta love the little nod and 👍 at the end there too!
What a beautiful sopranista sound! Reminds me of Philippe Jaroussky ! Your trills are particularly lovely and light!
Жарусски только красотой лица может похвалиться Голосом же этот исполнитель гораздо превосходит. Яркий, выразительный, полётный голос !

Interesting😊
In Handel's day, mezzo soprano and contralto ranges were all sang by males so as not to "distract" the male singers.
yes, but this is soprano ;)
Proving above all, that Baroque music does not need a conductor. I hope he washed his hands.

Sans le mystère et la poésie de Franco Fagioli , avec puissance et assurance voici une autre version de Rejoice !

Yup... I know guys can do this... BUT... I'd still rather hear a young lady do it... all that being said... this guy was AMAZING!
Thank you very much!
as usual I did not know...shame..
Sometimes you rolled rs, but you don't need to do that in English.
That’s the just the style of this kind of singing. They roll their r’s.
Singing soprano and Alto arias should be left to the ladies.
