AGAIN, just a few days later outside of the Target in Petaluma CA. Same thing but this guy had a saxophone. AND yes, we have a lady with all bright smiles holding fake flowers. This is a huge SCAM and glad someone is pointing this out! Really been a problem for the last year or so in my area. EDIT: The couple I saw scamming were driving a 06-08 Toyota Sienna Gold Van. They are easy to trace.

Not just with the funeral thing, which they do, but a lady with nice hair and nails outside with her baby, husband sitting in the car while she begs for money. I literally call the cops Everytime!!! My mechanic who used to work out of a gas station said a gypsy woman and a teenage girl came into the station. The woman left the younger one behind who started chatting up the elder man running the counter. Pretty soon, the woman returned and accused him of being inappropriate with the teenager, and they tried to elicit money from him if he wanted them to keep quiet.

It's not a scam if you are paying for a service and receiving it; I buy phone cases at those kiosks because they are pretty, the ones at the Verizon store don't have the same kinds of designs, they are rather plain. The perfumes for $20, everyone knows they are dupes, they are meant to smell like the originals, but everyone knows they aren't the original, nobody is getting scammed thinking they are the original name brand.

In New York they have this famous scam where people who own those food carts don't list there prices and they make your hot dog or food and go for example it 20 dollars for a hot dog, pretzels and a bottle of water hoping that since they already made the food you will give in pay there price.
I was in new York once and I order a hot dog from a food cart. The guy with a strong foreign accent handed me the hot dog and his prices WERE NOT LISTED AT ALL. He goes twelve dollars for one hot dog and I handed the hot dog back and walked away.

Walking out from work one night, had this guy approach me and say he needed money for a fan belt, (he's holding one in his hands) and I told him I'm sorry but no. NOW months later, my wife and I pull up to a gas station to get gas, and the SAME GUY comes up to me with a fan belt.
