Helldivers: Is the Defender DLC worth it?

- Sooo...that Defender DLC. Good? Bad? Well you'll just have to see to find out. Though it did come with a full new set of awesome armor, a rifle firing explosive frag grenades, and a automated defense drone that can be armed with both AP and stun rounds. 6 years down the line and this game is still awesome..I love playing this with my kid!
I agree my man, currently have this game on my Ps Vita and quite enjoy it. My vita is modded so I have it overclocked and bumped the resolution up a bit and it’s a dream.
Actually, the Suppressor name makes sense, as in 'suppressing' a mob or 'suppressing fire'. Suppress just mean force to end or lessen an action like 'sound suppressor' for silencers.

@@plaguedoctor5639 2 years late. I think he just corrected him unironically. This was an actual 'actually' not a meme. I think they assumed that video maker was confused and didn't know the definition of the word 'suppression' and associated it with silencers only.

I feel helldivers is the only game i've ever played where theres more "don'ts" than "do's"

The CR9 suppressor is actually like a bolter from the warhammer franchise.
The Suppressor is godly vs Cyborgs! It really messes them up!

plus spending soooo much time on the cosmetics instead of the equipment..we didnt buy the DLC for the cosmetics, just skim over that and get to what we want/need to know. Unfortunately hes the most informative for the gear in HD though, even after 7 years >.
I feel like they fucked up with this one give the suppressor to the demolitionist and the omg to the defender.
You don't know much about actual weapons if you don't understand suppression or why you would call a weapon a suppresser. light machine guns or high power riffles are used to suppress enemy's to keep their heads down so they arnt returning fire

Is the guard dog really effective? I feel like its not that effective and waste of slot. Its not consistent and do minimal damage. Please give me your input im planning to buy a DLC and i dont want it to go to waste.

The guard dog overall does more than the healing bot. It can pop the clocked illuminate drones and the bug screamers quite quickly. Generally it stops raising the alarms more than relying on teammates to shoot them
It’s one of my favourite stratagems, I use it when I’m using the scorcher or suppressor
The mini stun keeps things just far enough to not hit myself with the AOE
I play on ps4, and zi buy the 12.50 dollar bundle of all DLC packs so far, will they automatically give me future DLCS? Thx. also love ur vids. You deserve so many more subs, and you would totally get them if you have more publicity.

As for the DLC, I don't know if they will be releasing anymore. But if you want all the DLC I recommend buying the Helldivers Reinforcements Mega Bundle.

Is the guard dog drone a friendly fire threat? Seems like it fires from above and its line of fire doesn't affect anyone else.
While it can hit yourself or teammates, it requires you to be pretty close to the enemies that it is shooting at. So generally it isn't a friendly-fire threat
you should do a DLC overview vid
When I by DLC does it auto give it to me, or does buying just give the chances of giving it as a reward for finishing a planet, or getting to a LVL? (The word It referring to the stratagems/weapons of course)
If you buy the pack you get it and can use it instantly

Good display of the game but it shows me again why I never bought the game. Helldivers 2 looks like a upgrade through.
I skipped helldivers2 until they bring back vehicles, and squids. And a smooth co-op
