I know that I am 3 years late but nonetheless I'll share my top loadouts (from a perspective of someone who has put nearly 200 hours into this game) with you. Bugs: I suggest you taking the "AR-14D Paragon". It's the only AR that isn't fully automatic, it shoots in bursts of three. Though it might be difficult for someone to master the skill of shooting only one projectile at the same time (If you don't fully press the trigger down, it shoots only one bullet. This technique is far harder with the "Peacemaker" so worry not.) it surely pays off. The weapon's projectiles also slow down enemies which is quite helpful (it slows other players too so be careful). Unfortunately this gun drains ammo quickly so consider taking the supplies stratagem. And what's more, the "Paragon" has a bayonet. In my opinion, this gun is by far the most fun primary gun in the game. Moving to stratagems I highly recommend "Static Field Conductors". They slow down every kind of bug which is extremely helpful against bug tanks. The next stratagem is "TOX-13 Avenger". It works similarly to the flamethrower but instead of flames it fires poisonous liquid which not only deals damage to bugs but slows them as well. But be careful where you aim so you don't unintetionally poison other players. If you wish for a more instant effect then go gor the "M-25 Rumbler". I do not prefer the latter one because of its manipulation difficulty (While charging, which also requires some skill, or reloading the weapon you cannot move, once you press the trigger for too long you can't cancel the charge, unexperienced players may yank the joystick too fast so the projectile could end up somewhere else than intended. On the other hand, you are capable of shooting over other players, thus you don't have to be on the front line.) The last stratagem (excluding resupplies) is the "bubble shield" which is great in addition with the "static fields" (you can walk through them without being affected by them). It seems that bugs are all about keeping distance from them. Illuminates: You should definitely opt for a weapon with high firerate such as "LAS-16 Sickle". The "MGX-42 Machine Gun" is a suitable heavy weapon since it doesn't need reloading and can be summoned repeatedly. It is great against council members because it locks them in place therefore you needn't worry about missing your shots due to their teleportation ability. Concerning the stratagems I reckon you can use the "Strafing Run" and "Incendiary Bombs" stratagems. The first one can destroy a whole pack of tripods (and other types of enemies akin to them) in 2 or 3 seconds if well placed. The second one blocks council members' orbs, also enemies dare not to go through the flames. The last stratagem is of course the "bubble shield" which is absolutely necessary when playing on harder difficulties (due to some enemies' ability to reverse your left joystick inputs). Cyborgs: I like picking the "MP-98 Knight SMG". With that gun you can strafe faster whilst aiming which is helpful when avoiding bullets. If you choose this weapon or any other gun without a bayonet you should consider picking the "bubble shield" (because of the dogs), and if not you can ditch the shield. Dispatching cyborgs is harder than any other races. "REC-6 Demolisher" and "MLS-4 Commando" are quite effective against heavy armoured enemies but they both lack adequate magazine size, thus they are useless against greater ammount of foes. You can compensate this with either "Rumbler" or offensive stratagems such as "Airstrike", "Vindicator Dive Bomb" and "Thunderer Barrage". If I didn't equip the "shield" I would take "Airdropped Anti-Tank Mines". And "Resupply" of course. I do not find the perks very important but my favourite ones are "Cardio Accelator", "MD-99 Autoinjector" and "Stratagem Priority" (and "All Terain Boots" when playing on snow planets).
I know this is years later but, how are you doin bro? How is things going In general, I Don,t know why I just felt like asking you, also thanks for the valuable tips my guy.
@@hadishams5732 I'm finishing school and hopefully starting uni next autumn. These days I play Helldivers rather sporadically. I feel kinda disappointed that there was no update last year, even though I suspected there would be nothing given the arrival of the next gen consoles. I've gathered a few new advices though: 1) Don't stick to only one loadout. Change your stratagems, play with everything, experiment. The arsenal in this game is woefully small, and you'd get bored pretty quickly if using the same things over and over. The most powerful stratagems/weapons aren't always the most fun. 2) Avoid "Trident" at all costs. It's by far the most op gun in the game. Everyone's using it, it requires no skill whatsoever, it's not fun, and you'll get sick of it quickly.
@@hadishams5732 Also 3) On the desert maps run over the roots to get across the abysses. It's a little risky but it can be literally the most exciting part of the whole mission lol.
The Avenger works well against a horde of those filthy bugs. It is a god send because of the slowing effect of the poison, giving you enough breathing room to prance about in the battlefield.
My loadout for the most part is Smg knight - armor penetration+ ministun gives good and if not better firepower than the justice rifle. -As long as you hit , your target wont be able to attack. -Quick weak enemies crowd control and a devastating against single target due to big magazines - carry up to 12 magazines. -Its single handed wich is perfect for carrying any objective item for the team and or alone and still stand a chance. Pretty op for an smg and the only weapon for me that stands up there with the Trident,Patriot and Justice. For strats: Ammo Jetpack/bubble shield Grenade launcher/eat rockets turret/exo
I’ve obtained everything in HD2: platinum trophy, Warbond, superstore gear, and ship module upgrades. So, I bought HD1 to fill the void, and it is excellent. I tried co-op with randoms, and not being able to roam the map on my own is not great; maybe with friends is bearable, but I am having more fun as a solo. The laser shotgun is my favorite, and I want to see it in HD2.
I've fought a lot of illuminate levels, and the best stuff I've found against them is the sickle and bubble shield are extremely reliable. The shield save you from a lot of random crap and the sickle laser lets you take out snipers just by lining up your shot with theirs. The illuminates have no heavy armor units, so you really don't need any anti-tank items. Mechs and vehicles will destroy them but you can't use those alone because you lose out on being able to quickly snipe the scouts. The static field is a decent option, the vindicators aren't bad either since they're basically just a powered up version of your grenades and they have no heavy armor. The orbital laser strike is a solid choice if you take the strategem priority. For holding points there's not much better than priority and double hellfire lines. Don't use any turrets or towers though, they just get sniped way too early.
+MyCatIsOP Static Field is terrible against Illuminates, doesn't affect units with shields. You can get it to work, but you have to take down their shields first. Mechs are ok, vehicles are a bad idea IMO. Way too easy for an Obelisk to instant kill these things with a forming wall. That's ok with a mech, because its only affecting one player. With a vehicle now you're potentially talking about a whole team dying at once. That's not really a position you want to put your group in. If you're going to use vehicles, its better at least to work in pairs, a driver and a gunner. To prevent turrets from being sniped, you need to throw them out further from yourself and/or the objective than you normally would. Snipers take their position based on where you're at, not your turret, so if the turret is off to the side, its much more likely to kill the sniper before the sniper destroys the turret.
When I spread Democracy, I generally have two possible loadouts. Option A is for more teamworky stuff, and is basically Cardio + Justice + Resupply + Recoilles Rifle + two strategems of choice, or, I might go for option B, which is Cardio + Sickle + das bubble shield + Rec-6 Democharge + 2 strategems of choice. The strategems of Choice generally come down to a Minigun Turret to cover my back whilst I do objectives and the thunderer barrage.
Hey man these videos are great and helping me out loads since I just started playing helldivers and don't have anyone to play with and as i'm sure you know all too well randoms aren't exactly reliable.
I prefer to use Guard Dog instead of the bubble shield, and Exo walkers instead of the demo packs. Warlords in particular will go down in two shots from the Lumberer. Otherwise I typically use the Exo-44.
Mini Turret, Guard Dog, Exo walkers, and APC on higher difficulty will be a drawback. You will need anti-tank and a secondary anti-tank strategem just in case the 1st anti-tank weapon is lost, stolen, and or far away and cannot be reach again. Quickness and mobility are part of the key to defeating higher difficulty.
BUGS: lvl 8-12 . stratgem priority. Sickle, 2 static field, incendiary bomb, and Rec6 BUGS(cyborg): lvl 4-8 Displacement field. breaker or justice depend on other people's loadout, incendiary bomb, thunder barrage, and MLS 4X Commando mk3 Cyborg: Displacement field, breaker, ammo supply, incendiary bomb, vindicator bomb, Rec 6 Or Displacement field, Trident, 2 incendiary bomb, vindicator bomb, and Rec 6 Illuminate: Displacement Field, breaker, ammo supply, bubble shield, 2 incendiary bomb Illuminate doesn't like incendiary bomb especially those on shield as well. Do not use static field as those enemies with bubble can pass through them. Retalliatory: strategem priority, trident, barbwire, at47 anti-tank, eat 17, rec 6 I know it's mostly anti-tank weapons. it's a stationary area, so there are no escape. I use regular gun to kill less armor enemies, as heavy armor enemies is where the anti-tank weapon come in handy because regular gun cannot put a dent on them. Mini turret is a drawback as it can also kill and disable you. I would put it far away from where you stand to guard that particular area where you and partners can stand on different area to watch and spray your bullet. If the mini turret is giving you too much problems, destroy it. Exo suit at the end is fine, but if use in the beginning especially higher difficulty would be a waste. Learn to use all kind of anti-tank weapons if possible because if you ran out of anti-weapon, and the person next to you have an anti-tank weapon but he die. Use it to destroy that beast and slowly get your anti-tank weapon again and give your partner his weapon back to that person. He or she will understand why you take it. It's teamwork. I'm not really good at the Rumbler but sometime I have to use it for team sake.
Bugs?.. strat priority, Las shotgun or las 5, bubble shield, static field, UAV (if I feel like a sample hunt) or heavy airstrike and napalm (to keep everything at bay just in case I feel overwhelmed) ;)
awesome content. if you fancy spreading democracy with me at any point i would love that. any idea where to get the At mines cant find them just the personel mines. also how do you rate the tesla tower?
I like how you mention the patriot, its a good weapon. But you never mentioned the breaker... this weapon unlocks at lvl2 and its the goto weapon for illumimates. In my opinion the breaker is the best weapon for every race, especially when soloing. illu scouts die in one hit without really aiming It kills all 3 bug scouts in one shot, if there are more then it kills em all. Also for cyborg patrols it needs 3 shots to wipe the group without triggering alarm. The only downside is the lack of power vs medium armored enemys like commandobug, but you can kill them with c4 in an emergency.
+Dima duuh The Breaker is a good gun but I never was shotgun user in Helldivers. These are my preferred loadouts not the best vs each race. Though, I wouldn't use the Breaker on Helldives for the Bugs or Cyborgs. It lacks the armor penetration for the Bugs. As for the Cyborgs I prefer the accuracy and range of a assault rifle.
Sorry dude, but no. I've decrease my Helldivers uploads due to how much less I play the game. As a result, Helldivers videos are now gameplay/lets plays and live streams.
On the first planets u need no anti tank or so, just play something with a high fire rate and bring your resupply with u, then it should be easy, but also you need to learn the game mechanics After those planets play something that shreds armor and there u go Ps: play trident and upgrade it
When I'm fighting bugs I find I'm often 1 shot with the camper sniper rifle and I'm planning on going for there cap is it a good idea to bring the camper sniper or should I bring something els ?
+Remington 14 The close air support stratagem sadly has no equal. The Vindicator dive bombs will only be strong enough until you face the heaviest armored enemies in which case you'll likely need true anti-tank weaponry or stratagems. So depending on your difficulty level it can sub for it.
+Remington 14 Aso remember to be as accurate as possible with it. You want the target dead center for maximum effectiveness. Anything less and the lighter armored units will shrug it off.
+youtube gamer Lol. Honestly, I see your profile picture and all I can see is Yato saying this to me. Lol. But thanks dude. Both for the compliments and a good laugh :D
+Luke A You can use the SH-40 Shield Generator pack (Bubble shield) when active the dogs won't rush you because if they did they'd collide with the shield and stun themselves. Shotguns like the breaker are also a good idea. Though, if you want a perk, the Displacement field can save you at least once every like 2 minutes or you can get the Auto-Injector perk so that you can get up faster. Personally I go with the shield when playing solo :)
+DeathStalker Synchro I'm not sure if you know this or not, as most players seem to surprisingly not know this. The Auto-Injector does more than getting up faster. It also doubles your healing rate. With a Sh-20, its a very powerful perk. Because the SH-20 already recovers at about at twice your normal healing rate and with Auto-Injector now your normal health bar regenerates like a shield as well, so it basically gives you x4 health.
+Luke A SH-20 shield or Guard Dog will handle the dogs for you. Any rapid fire primary or secondary will work. Failing all that, don't be afraid to use your pistol. The default pistol is actually really good when fully upgraded and might even be handle the dogs better than your primary (depending on the primary you're using).
+DeathStalker Synchro How about the gun AR 14D Paragon? I full upgraded, but the stratagems I haven't fully upgraded because I upgrade some mistake. I don't know this game can reset the point or not so that I can upgraded correct one.
+DeathStalker Synchro sry about double cmnt, Can I use Paragon instead Justice nor Patriot? Because Paragon had AP-ammo at standard and upgrade with bust fire and another AP-ammo. It like double damages to shield enemies. I also the same stratagems as your and work perfectly when facing tanker and mobs
xtariz dranix No worries. I actually only seen one comment. To answer your question, the Paragon is also a good choice. It gets better with support from a squad. The only reason it isn't frequently in my loadout is because I mostly solo.
+Ciro Sotomayor I find them to be better support vehicles. Like the Lumberer it excels at anti-armor but it's not much too effective when it comes to infantry. So a squad of three and a Lumberer can support each other making for one hell of a team.
Im back in 2024 to finish my trophy and man i didnt remember it was hard im trying to do mission lvl 13 and lvl 10 to unlock stratagem, anyone got trick to kill bugs indontnknow if they patch something or i dont remember how to play but man im getting rape
That moment when you realize that the Eat-17 rocket launcher is l33t speak for "Eat-It". I think it's now my favorite launcher in the game because of this.
+DeathStalker Synchro What about 'em? Most of the time cyborgs in melee mean that you are very much dead. So I don't think that bayonet will help much, right?
hi love the video bro i just start the game this was very useful as i don't have alot of people to play with.If u still play let me know psn is jade blade.
+Avery Van Pelt Lol. Sorry dude. These are just my loadouts. Weapons and stratagems I like to use when playing. I experiment every now and then but mostly I use these.
I guess from the title I thought itd be 3 seperate load outs, but when i watched I liked how you went through each of the enemies and specified their weakness. Keep up the good work!

The last stratagem (excluding resupplies) is the "bubble shield" which is great in addition with the "static fields" (you can walk through them without being affected by them). It seems that bugs are all about keeping distance from them.
Illuminates:
You should definitely opt for a weapon with high firerate such as "LAS-16 Sickle". The "MGX-42 Machine Gun" is a suitable heavy weapon since it doesn't need reloading and can be summoned repeatedly. It is great against council members because it locks them in place therefore you needn't worry about missing your shots due to their teleportation ability. Sorry dude, but no. I've decrease my Helldivers uploads due to how much less I play the game. As a result, Helldivers videos are now gameplay/lets plays and live streams.
DeathStalker Synchro could you do a video with three other people where everyone goes 4x mines? or 4x hellfire?
Lol. Have you seen this highlight from a live steam. ruclips.net/video/u7plmZjtSL4/видео.html
Can u make a loadout for being a dedicated tankyboi
Directional shield + heavy armour perk + Stalwart + MG stratagem for maximum chonk. Pretty much turn into Jorge from Reach at that point.
Bro, when are we going to collaborate?! We should do a mission together, it'll be fun! :)
SH-40? Do you het that item from a dlc pack, because I only have a SH-20 shield generator.
Same thing lol
Is the Bayonett Ubgrade comming with any major Disatvantages?
It makes your melee attack 40-50% slower
+Ian Hartman Stover 38% slower I think....
Do you have any suggestions for low-level players like me who haven't unlocked many strategems or guns yet
On the first planets u need no anti tank or so, just play something with a high fire rate and bring your resupply with u, then it should be easy, but also you need to learn the game mechanics
After those planets play something that shreds armor and there u go
Ps: play trident and upgrade it
When I'm fighting bugs I find I'm often 1 shot with the camper sniper rifle and I'm planning on going for there cap is it a good idea to bring the camper sniper or should I bring something els ?
Tox 13 best against bugs
Great video
Hey friend, are you excited for Helldivers 2? :)
Late reply, but HELL YEAH! Hope it recapture the magic of the OG.
Nice loadouts :-)
+AbyssWalkerX8 Thanks :)
Sounds like a dlc packs builc hmmmmm multiple ones
Close range support or dive bomb?
Is the vindicator divebomb a good sub for the close air support?
If not can u suggest one?
+Remington 14 The close air support stratagem sadly has no equal. The Vindicator dive bombs will only be strong enough until you face the heaviest armored enemies in which case you'll likely need true anti-tank weaponry or stratagems. So depending on your difficulty level it can sub for it.
+Remington 14 Aso remember to be as accurate as possible with it. You want the target dead center for maximum effectiveness. Anything less and the lighter armored units will shrug it off.
+DeathStalker Synchro would the missile barrage be good? Or maybe the regular strafing run? I will use rec 6 with it
the avenger is basically the best weapon against bugs. ik its YOUR loudout but like y u dont use the avenger?
would this run on a 2.2 ghz comp because the min says 2.4 dual but that's also the recommended so I don't know what to think :/
***** Im pretty sure I have enough ram and gpu its more my core im worried about .
***** idk much about comps so
What difficulties were you able to do solo?
With these loadouts I'd play Helldives (Level 12) on solo.
oh jeez u are god at this game XD
+youtube gamer Lol. Honestly, I see your profile picture and all I can see is Yato saying this to me. Lol. But thanks dude.
Both for the compliments and a good laugh :D
This may be a noob question, but anyone got anyways to deal with cyborg dogs? Its hard getting rushed solo :D
What level to unlock ar justice? Right now I'm using ar Patriot
+xtariz dranix You'll unlock the Justice at rank 18.
2023 gang anyone here:D
Id have the xo51 exosuit
Are Mechs and vehicles even worth it? D:
+Ciro Sotomayor I find them to be better support vehicles. Like the Lumberer it excels at anti-armor but it's not much too effective when it comes to infantry. So a squad of three and a Lumberer can support each other making for one hell of a team.
How do you get shield generator
+Grant Alexander It's a reward for completing a random planet of a difficulty around 7-9
omg please apply a lowcut filter to your mic, its so annoying to listen to on a system with a bigger subwoofer. ty
awesome ^^
How to expel a bad player in HD ?
Anybody still here?
Yes
yup
recoilless rifle is better than eat 17
+Brian Zeng Not for his style. He's by himself most of the time.
I would love Eat-2h1t launcher
Anyone still here
Alguém aqui?
Let's be honest, the real reason why you don't use bayonet on Justice is 'cause it looks ugly as hell xD
+Anthony Savchenko The bayonet is....well...on second thought....So about those Cyborgs. Lol
+DeathStalker Synchro What about 'em? Most of the time cyborgs in melee mean that you are very much dead.
So I don't think that bayonet will help much, right?
Hi
"my 3 best loadouts" - pretty much uses the same loadout for all 3
sickle sickle sickle sickle. best primary in the game. ignore the assault rifles.
It's great in certain situations, but not good against crowd control situation.
I would say a tag team of sickle and trident would be awesome
hi love the video bro i just start the game this was very useful as i don't have alot of people to play with.If u still play let me know psn is jade blade.
three of the same exact loadouts?? cmon man
+Avery Van Pelt Lol. Sorry dude. These are just my loadouts. Weapons and stratagems I like to use when playing. I experiment every now and then but mostly I use these.
Nah its cool, I'm sorry for seeming down, thanks for the content.
Avery Van Pelt No worries dude. They were just your honest feelings.
I guess from the title I thought itd be 3 seperate load outs, but when i watched I liked how you went through each of the enemies and specified their weakness. Keep up the good work!
Will do :)
Am I the only one playing this game ?
Literally the same fucking loadout 3 times
