My dad is 72, and he does struggle with dual analog sticks. He used to play Halo CE co-op with me back in the day, but these days he is addicted to strategy games. Mostly Company of Heroes (since it reminds him of playing with army men figurines when he was young), and also Age of Empires 2

Steamworld Dig is great. Steamworld Heist though is an underrated gem of a strategy RPG, and I'd much rather see a sequel to that
He mentioned Titanfall 2 and Resident Evil 3, two AAA games, and besides Justin mentioning Call of Duty campaigns, you 3 only mentioned indie games in terms of Shorter games.

Also if the guy's dad played Doom & Wolfenstein, why not the most recent Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal, and Wolfenstein New Blood and New Order.
And yes, dual analog would be a problem if you stopped at SNES, but if u stopped at 90s PC shooters, you understand camera moving around and going forward and back. So dual Analog wouldn't be too hard of a concept to understand.

Dredge was my favourite weekend game in a long time

Playdead basically split up, but people from that company went onto make Somverville (which is like Limbo and Inside but a bit more interesting) and Cocoon. Anyone who likes Inside should play Somerville.
Cocoon was the best weekend (/single day) game I've played in a long time. Couldnt put it down, incredible experience.

After last weeks hilarity, fully expected the first 20 question to be from Justin, "Do you play as a human in this game?".
Amazing, masterpiece of a game (and also my 2nd or possibly even top most favorite game) Elden Ring notoriously has bad camera when it comes to fighting large bosses. Those ulcerated tree spirits being the worst, especially when they shove them into a tiny room where there's barely space for it to even exist, let alone for you to maneuver around it and suddenly the camera becomes a second boss you have to fight that's just as dangerous as the main boss.
A short hike is a great pallet cleaner. Smoke a bowl and go on a short hike.

"He wants to have fun, so he's probably not interested in TLOU." What??? That was shocking and hilarious at the same time. TLOU is simply one of the very best and most fun games humanity ever produced.
Yes, the story if often sad. But not in a way that takes one bit of the fun. Somethings that have elements of sadness, because it tells a serious story, can still be fun. And sometimes the game is better and more fun because of those elements.
Of course, not that everyone must feel the same way, but that sentence, associating TLOU with absence of fun is a bizarre way to express what the game is.

why has this show become so awkward to watch recently? Constantly with the long pauses and the talking over each other....what's the deal? Show wasn't always this hard to watch...
Talking over each other happens when doing remote calls vs when this was in person. Doesn’t seem awkward but pauses go away when you listen on 2x.
