How to Unroot/Unbrick Galaxy S10/S10e/S10 Plus/A50!

- In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to unroot/unbrick a Samsung Galaxy S10, S10e, S10 Plus, or the A50 easily using ODIN and stock firmware. Downloads & Full Step-by-Step Written Tutorial here:

You will need a Windows computer, any Windows computer will do or also you can run Windows using virtual machine software like VMWare but I do recommend simply borrowing your friend's Windows laptop, I am sure one of your friends have one.First, you will need to find the model number on your phone. If you are in a bootloop or bricked state and cannot access the phone at all, you can also check the original box that came with the phone or check the back bottom of the phone which should list the model number.
This unroot/unbrick method supports ALL MODELS including: - Samsung Galaxy S10 SM-G973F, SM-G973N, SM-G973F-DS, SM-G973U
- Samsung Galaxy S10e SM-G970F, SM-G970N, SM-G970F-DS, SM-G970U
- Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus SM-G975F, SM-G975N, SM-G975F-DS, SM-G975U If you are getting this message "An error has occurred while updating device software.Use the Emergency recoery function in the Smart Switch PC software", you can also use this unroot/unbrick method. That state is SAME as ODIN download mode.

I brought the phone to Verizon they couldn't fix it, I brought the phone to a specialist they couldn't fix it. Mate i cant thank you enough. so, due to my work i had to download an update for s10 over 4g. the download was fine updated as normal, then got the teal download screen.
no reset, or button combination solved it. could not get to the boot menu, or do anything, totally bricked. Tried Reiboot, Dr fone, and smartswitch method. Nothing would even notice the phone was connected.
This was last option and obviously had no way of backing up data, and had a ton of pics i really didnt want to lose. But risked it any way.
I did the method exactly working above, and my phone is now alive and well, and all data is present, as if nothing happen!
I would have been stuck on a ship with no contact or internet for next 3 weeks, so this was an absolute life saver. Thanks again

my phone was fine after rooting for 2 months then the phone restarted because i had that setting on where it restarts itself at night .. after restarting something must've went wrong and i got this boot loop, i don't know what went wrong there but i wasn't able to use the phone for almost 12 hours, thanks again mate!

Hey Max, it definetely worked for me, I just have a question...
When I unrooted my phone IMEI status is NG and can't make a call. Is there any way to keep Certificates safe? I know to restore this certificates root must be done and patch it again using Chimera Tool so IMEI status is OK again and able to make calls.
P.D: I also tried keeping data using HOME_CSC but as you said data gets corrupted and you have to wipe everything.

i did everything and it showed PASS then rebooted showing data/vendor permission denied. what should i do to fix this problem

@ Max lee or anyone :I'm having a problem with Odin. It won't recognize my S10e. And I've tried 3 different computers with no success. But when I connect my S9, it works instantly. Yes I have latest Odin version. Any thoughts

Did I have to do anything on my phone when ODIN says: PASS!?? Does the device reboot itselfs or do I have to press any buttons on my device? I'm confused because you just jump to that recovery screen. What happens it between?

However I realised that I'm using old security patch (1 - April - 2019) and I'd like to upgrade to (30 - May - 2019) Do I flash the old BL, CP and the AP to the new firmware? I bought a motherboard for my Samsung S8 phone and discovered that some Samsung applications do not work, such as the payment application, the health application, and Samsung Pass. Whenever I try to access it, a message appears stating that your device is rooted and this application will not work with root. I did the same on S10 5G but it says that it's still rooted when I try to access samsung pass, the IMEI was patched previously and it hasn't changed back to the actual one of my set. I am able to use some sims and others are not working. First the bootloader was unlocked and didn't allow me to download the netflix but I was able to lock the bootloader and I can see netflix in play store now. How to get around this problem?
Please reply to this, I can not access the download screen, i dont have an option for the smart recovery, im stuck on the the phone is not running samsungs official software.

Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I can't get ODIN to find my phone. I have downloaded the Samsung drivers and ODIN just as described. I am using Windows 11 and had to install the drivers using compatibility mode. Not sure if that is the problem, but it is not working for me. How can I get ODIN to see my phone?

After unrooting my S10 plus I can't use secure folder and samsung pass. While accessing it shows your device has been rooted and can't use samsung pass and secure folder also...

Imagine I root my S10. When I flash the AP file from a new security update, does it wipe the phone clean?

What are your thoughts on buying "3rd party warranty" like SqaureTrade on International Models on Ebay? I'm from California too. The only places where I can get an unlocked phone is Best Buy and Fry's Electronics. They sell for $1,000+ with our sales tax. I feel like there's no value once the included 1 year warranty expires. I want to buy a Galaxy S10+ Exynos, they have been dropping in price sooner than the US Snapdragon models, and there's no sales tax when buying from out of state. I would like to have the latest phone with a micro-SD card slot and to be able to root to spoof in Pokemon Go (this is still a thing with newer methods).

Hi I need your help. I briked my rooted s10e by trying to install Viper4android. I followed your tuto but when I want to root it again Odin is stuck on "File Analysis" and won't flash the magisk_patch. I tried 4 different Odin but it's the same. I got a UK Firmware but I'm in France. The first time I rooted it I flashed another country firmware and it wasn't French so I don't think the firmware is the issue. Any idea ?
Oh use viper4android uninstaller zip and flash with twrp to restore, super easy fix.

Volume up + Bixby + Power Button, until you boot into Recovery Mode, it will say that your files are corrupted, then just factory reset your phone like it days you should.

Hi : I followed the approach and was able to unbrick the phone, but when I install Magisk manager, Its seems to be stuck in "checking for updates" state. Internet connection is all good. So I cannot install Magisk. Anyone had similar issue??
Oh you need an updated canary magisk apk as the developer has changed URL. Just google Canary Magisk and download latest version.

I have a SM-G973N i think it’s from korea and i bought it rooted (Second hand) and i want to unroot it but odin fails i think it’s because i am flashing with G925F firmware. The phone came with G925F Firmware but in download mode and the back of the phone shows me G973N Model what should i do cos i think if i flash it with the korean firmware it will be in Korean.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!! My S10 is bricked. I am really tensed. I rooted successfully. I booted my phone with vol up + bixby + power for root access. but the samsung s10 screen logo comming and disapperaing. It is neither comming in downloading state. What can i DO now.
