One of the most fun things about Halloween for me is trying to create an atmosphere inside the house. Rather than using all Halloween themed pieces, I like to collect items that feel like they would be on a movie set to make the decor look authentic. I love the creative outlet and I hope you'll enjoy seeing my Enchanted Witchy Apothecary come together.

Thank you Danielle I appreciate that. As you know thrifted shopping is a fun way to make a unique look. (You do that on your channel all the time) It takes time but that's part of the fun of collecting items that you have a vision for.
You did a wonderful job incorporating Halloween finds with your other decor. You were fortunate to find so many Goodwill finds, our local one never has anything.
I know sometimes Goodwill can be hit or miss. Many of these were found in previous years because this year there hasn't been much inventory. I have noticed prices are up even in the goodwill stores. Thank you for watching!
You should put some water in that small decanter with a bit of green food coloring and a splash of milk. It makes the perfect spooky color green that is perfect for Halloween. And surprisingly, it doesn’t take on a spoiled smell. I do it in the kitchen with those large glass clear canisters. I put the water, food coloring and milk. And then I take a plastic mask, that pulls over the head kind, and I submerge it in the canister. It gives it such a spooky look. Love your witchy vibe.

Jen!!!! I love everything about this. I love your décor I love all the tones I love the theme how creative!!! I am all about using LED candles in the house. They make the home feel so warm. I use l e d lights in the house I am obsessed with them.this was very enchanting!!!

Thank you so much Leslie! We're very grateful it all is behind us and the cancer is gone. No need for chemo or radiation or anything. God was with us on this one. Found it by accident and it was out within 5 weeks. It's a miracle if you ask me.

@@goodehome well...I ended up doing some outside because the neighbors said Halloween was a big deal in the neighborhood. And I'm glad I did as so many homes are decorated! Lol

Hi! I love your videos and decor. I have followed you for over a year. However. I can't thrift. I don't get the trifted items. Like it's a "charmed thing" ahh... Thrifted! I can't re create it!!!! What am I to do with that thrifted thing? I can't do anything. So it's great you found that. You go, girl! So no help me find the item cause you thrifted. Lol! I know people make you feel guilty for purchasing stuff. Don't listen to them. And stop with the thrif stuff. I want to create. ❤
Thanks for watching, I can understand how you feel. I feel that way when people do DIY videos, I can't make it ever look like the DIY they make. I can't stop with the thrifting because it's who I am. I grew up thrifting (Mom dragged me to thrift stores as a kid and I hated it LOL) and have always shopped like this. People don't make me feel guilty for buying things, I'm almost 50 years old I don't really worry about what people think I should be doing with my money, but the truth is I love thrifting. I do shop retail / new more during the Christmas season but for most of the year this is who I am. Wishing you a great week.
