Paradise I really wanted to retire there before I broke my damn neck, paralyzed words can express how much I miss surfing 🏄🏽♂️
first trip was in 84 ,, things have certainly changed . would stay at the bar with rooms up stairs right on the point just town side of river was $5.00 a day with tree meals ,, $ .50 Heinekens ,, its best after 8ft when the points start connecting its a beautiful thing ,,

Stay at the Diria, 1 hour from the air port and right in front of Playa Hermosa and the river mouth really good surfing on a beach break, plus trips to witch's rock and really good resturants + bars + small night clubs, fun area!

southern part of the country, plenty of rooms, cabinas etc. 6 hour drive south or so from main intl airport in san jose....
you might ck with steve sklar who has a place in a trout farm in the jungle for rent. not too far from the H20 and real quiet.

There is 3 diff sections,that u can get barrels & keep carving for halfile ride at least
Straight west/sw swell at 8 ft plus connects the entire 1 mile ride

Fisheen will also give ride to other side of Bay for big right pt rides 5$ ,as long as not to rough deas
