I love garage sales, painting, decoupaging, reading, cooking, and I am alone. I have never watched tv, I was brought up in a home where we were to read or play outside but there was no tv in the house, now I try to NOT to overdo it watching RUclips. Thank you for your channel, it makes me happy and thank you for sharing!

I'm a newly retired teacher and mom to two boys and a girl as well. My oldest son passed away in 2019 and my grandson came to live with us. It's been a journey. I love thrifting, a bit of crafting, cooking and taking walks. It's nice to learn a little bit about your life and now you know a little bit about mine. New friends.

Nice to meet you! I’m a 60 year old ranch wife. Dogs, cats, chickens, horses and cattle. I’m the ranch cook for weanings and brandings. I was a special needs monitor for school buses 🚌 I have been retired for a while now. I also try only to buy from thrift stores. I have been a vegan for over 10 years now and I still enjoy knowing that I am doing my part to help the environment and for the animals 🥰🌻🐝🐓🐐🐋🐄🦃🐈🐇 I knew right away that you were my kind of kindred spirit. Also my husband and I have been married for over 50 years now!! It seems like yesterday… anyway, love your videos and your down to earth attitude… take care

With every video, I find more and more things to love. The relaxation tepee would make an awesome place to read. I would enjoy some thrifting videos or traveling to different stores, doing simple errands. I live in Virginia and have traveled very little. The video where you and Mr. Steve went to lunch was so interesting. I had forgotten German pioneers settled out west. Thank you for sharing your farm and videos.
I am so happy you are enjoying your visits, actually we call it the reading teepee. When I get visitors I place a basket of books in it for them to enjoy. Just joined your channel I can relate I do some of the same things. I'm married to a younger man for 23 years. I'm 60 years old and I still work full time I retire at 67 lol I have my dogs,chickens ducks, turkey and a few rabbits. Have a great day!

So funny that I starting thinking about calling it the Little Farm after I got chickens.
Love watching your channel. Enjoyed the sit down talk together outside. Always feels like I’m right there. I’m a collector of dogs. Use to be cats and dogs but now just dogs. They are always strays I’ve picked up or just showed up. One was from the shelter my son picked out when he was young. One my son (now grown) couldn’t keep anymore. As of now I have 3 big dogs ( not sure they know they are dogs 😌) they are part of the family like children ❤

Nice to get to know you a little better! I’am a lifelong thrifter. Ninety percent of my clothes and household stuff is thrifted. I like good quality stuff and that’s why I thrift. Old stuff is made so much better than most new junk in the stores nowadays. I’m also a lifelong animal lover and advocate. I spent the last part of my work life working in animal welfare. Retired now and my focus is on my hobbies (sewing, knitting, reading) and pollinator friendly gardening. My yard is a certified wildlife habitat. Also, extremely passionate about regenerative farming practices and sustainable living. I don’t care much for cooking but am forced to do it two or three times a day because I’m very selective about what what I eat. No fake food or toxic junk that is so prevalent nowadays 🙁 I would like to be your neighbor! How fun would it be to hang out with the animals (and you)!

I was born in Columbia City Indiana, my parents were migrant workers that settled in a small town called Pierceton where I grew up. I moved to Indy to marry Mr Steve. I am so glad you are enjoying your visits to the Little Farm, hugs

I would love to know the HOW. I was an urban single mom and now an urban single grandma raising three grandchildren-who has always had gardens that feed us throughout the year. I have lived in three different urban settings during those decades and none of the municipalities were open to the idea of raising chickens (let alone other animals). We got close two years ago, getting chickens approved in our city---but it would have been with A LOT of regulations....just barely got knocked down. Do you have any videos that share the HOW of getting the local government to buy in?
I do not have any videos like that but I think that would be a great idea for one, I will definitely be doing that in the future. Thank you so much for your input.

I’m surprised you can have goats in the city! We live in the country but with an hours drive we have all of the amenities you want! And I can have my horses at home!

Hello, I'm a new subscriber. I have a few questions. Does Mr. Steve have any children/grandchildren? What are your dog's names and how old are they? What are the goats names. Did you mention that your little farm is open in the spring/ summer for visitors? Whew, I sure had a lot of questions, but you asked. 😂😂 I'm really enjoying your videos. 🎄🙋♀️❄️🎄🎁
Mr. Steve was a confirmed bachelor when I met him, he does not have any of his own children but has always been a wonderful step father and grand father. The dogs are Brownie, here is a link to a video about him ruclips.net/video/2ZZfIECXbhc/видео.html and Korbin he is our miniature dachsund 13 years old. We are also taking care of my Mom's dog Coco and I think he is six. Our goats are five year old twins, Leche (white ears) and Dulce (all black). I didn't remember to mention that we were open to the public, but we are open from May to end of October at no charge but donations are accepted.

I, too, am a retired teacher and school administrator. I taught kindergarten and first grade; but I preferred kindergarten. What grade(s) did you teach?
I taught pre-k, kindergarten and ended as an elementary IA for title 1. Pre-K was my favorite because we didn't have any testing.

No, I checked all of the ordinances before I got any of them. We can have fires but sometimes if it's really dry we can't. We also have had very supportive neighbors. Thanks for visiting.
