    What a seriously great walkthrough of how to sequence DMX Moving Heads with xLights! I tried to watch so many other videos including the xLights seminars but nothing clicked like your video just did for me! Keep up the great sequencing!

    This is a pretty great video and I appreciate it. As you mentioned, this part of the hobby seems to be blowing up. I think I'm going to order 2 or 4 of them and this setup video really helped on that decision. You the real MVP!

    Thanks again for making this video, I have watched it at least 6 times now. I just bought 2 Shehds 10R beams and now I should be ready to go once they arrive.
    I hope you are well and I'll let you know when I actually use my lights in my next magic show.
    💥BOOM!!!💥™

    Great stuff. At last... I was missing a step that I just overlooked and you helped me get my moving head going. Crazy I was able to get them going much simpler years ago in LOR, but now have the key in Xlights going. Carry on, and Thank you for your informative video.

    Thanks!! When you asked Alexa to start the show, she turned on my hot water recirc pump as that was the closest thing to start the show that she understood.... funny!

    I got a quote for 4 heads last night from them. They said $400 each light with $300 shipping on boat with sipping door to door.

    Man, 800 bucks for heads. That's a steal! Bodies normally cost way more. I've never seen heads sold on their own.

    @pomonabill220 2 года назад

    WOW those moving heads are fantastic! I am jealous!!!! Also a little scared with them sitting on that ledge, but they seem pretty solid.

      They are heavy, they haven't budged even with bad dust storm that took out my trees.

      @@Thesighnpainter That's good. With them being on top of that wall, up in the open, they seem to be pretty solid then! Good!

    Sorry, I know it's not related to this video per-say, but would you mind sharing where those skeleton heads came from? They look awesome... as is the video... dying to add some moving heads to my display.

    What song was shown in the sequence at the end ?

  • @pomonabill220
    @pomonabill220 Год назад

    Watched your video of the one song that you sequenced and I too found myself "distracted" by the moving heads. They really steal the show but are a fantastic effect!
    Thanks for the heads up and I will apply the same idea with my cheepie moving heads. They won't be as impressive as your bright ones, but still should have some kind of effect.
    How long does it take for you to sequence a song? and how long have you been using xLights?
    This was my first year and I learned TONS! and it took me a very long time, being my first year 2022. But with all that I have read/watched/tried, sequencing should go a little bit faster for me.
    The info about layer blending really helped also! Thanks!

    do you have that paperwork that shows the details of the heads? Mine did not come with them and need to try and figure out the settings. Any help would be great!

    Thanks for the information on these heads. Are these heads really waterproof? I live in Dallas, Tx area and we get a lot of strong wind and rain storms during Nov/December. Have you had any issues with them since your last show?

    I just have 4 cheepies moving heads, but this video REALLY helped me get them into Xlights. Thanks!
    I am interested in the inflatable covers for them though.. where have you found them? Amazon? or other places?

    Hi your video is one of the most clear ones ! Thanks for posting this! One question i have a problem re mapping other sequences when other vendors have the pan on 0 and i have it on 270. Do you know how to fix that?

    Did you have vendor information you could share for where you got them? Do you know the IP rating on them? We often times get the extreme downpour with 50mph winds.

      Sorry for the late reply, I was out camping! We get big dust storms and crazy wind gusts in AZ. They sat out in a few storms between Halloween and Christmas and didn't have any issues. I'm adding the link to the description.
