Good for him. Protect your mental health. I as a Korean I totally agree. I've never had a desire to visit my birth country because of the people. Even as a public citizen you are judged by Koreans. You're too fat, you're too thin. Why do you look like that, why you wearing this. There's a reason that the suicide rate is so high there, not just for celebrities. I'm so glad I grew up in the US.
You have never been here in Korea so you are judging 56.8 MILLION Koreans on the actions of a very small percentage which is completely ridiculous. You also do not seem to know that hundreds of thousands of foreigners live here in Seoul, that is not counting outside of Seoul. Again making blanket statements about a country you have never actually been to is the height of being uneducated in FACTS instead of rumors. He did not say he hates Korean fans he thinks he will be judged. Yet he is one of the first idols who has spoken publicly about "if you don't like your looks you can always get plastic surgery". Hate to break it to you but that is him also judging people. He has many insecurities and hopefully is getting help for that because he is creating issues that are more his judging himself how he judges others. There are millions of us that do not care about any of the superficial nonsense. But so many of you who have never been to Korea, act like we are all the same. Kind of how so many people act like other races of people and nationalities are exactly alike... Oh wait that would make you racist/prejudiced.

One of them is the pressure to fit in certain categories or stereotypes. Just like Japan, you guys are rough with fitting in that forces your youth to comply to society standards. It is well documented and it is a source of mental instability. It’s Korea changing? Absolutely, but it doesn’t mean the problem doesn’t exist

If anyone paved a way for kpop, it would be them. I hate it how korean fans react to small things like it was a big issue and ruin an idol's career over it. And I hate that they think that they own the idols life and success like the idols owe them.

It is becauce of sasaengs that heechul got his leg injury to begin with its sasaengs is the reason heechul cant participate in suju activities anymore
