before i put on the primary belt , i have been told to make sure that tentioner plate is pointing at 10 oclock position. i will START at the water pump, crank, idler, CAM and then end @ the secondary idler near the water pump.

Hi, I have the 1.4 BBY engine in my Audi A2 and I need to change the camshaft position sensor, would you be able to tell me where it is?

one last question. the question is about the small secondary belt. the last item the small belt goes over is the tentioner? i start from the inlet cam from the top then the outlet cam and then finally the bottom?or is it better to put the belt starting from the tensioner side?

greetings . i am working on the same engine and would appreciate advice. after i takoff the secondary and primary belt, i will TURN THE crankshaft sprocket 6 teeth back so that if both cams move there will be no DANGER. WHEN i put the SECONDARY small belt , is it ALRIGHT FOR me to keep BOTH CAMS locked and keep CRANK 6 teeth away 4from tdc? i will turn CRANK BACK TO TDC when i put on the primary belt, but is it alirght to keep it 6 teeth back when PUTTING ON the secondary belt? thanks

before you put on the MAIN TIMING BELT, did you position the tentioner @ 10 oclock position? according to a haynes illustration , the tentioner is turned to 10 0clock position AND THEN THE BELT IS REFITED AND TENTIONED . IS this recommended?
