Bruh the cyberpunk gameplay had me crying. You went through a slapstick section of repeatedly trying to carry the guy to safety while continuously being surprised from the guys trying to kill you because you weren't looking at your mini map. Then ricocheted a bullet off of a cardboard box into the guy you were trying to save, then instead of reloading you just said fuck it and kept it pushing. After that you went through the slowest hacking mini game I've ever seen. Then you drove around aimlessly until you realized you wanted to fast travel then You spent 3 minutes trying to get the fast travel station to unfuck itself. Then you said fuck it and kept it pushing again. Quality content. Quality content.

When Planet Coaster first came out, I used to get heartbroken by all the comments from folks who wished their rigs were powerful enough to play it or for it to come to console. One argument I never see made is how elitist exclusives are in the first place. I come from a country in which I would have to work for approximately 4 months to save enough for a PS5, assuming I save every penny. On top of that, I would need to work 28 hours to buy a single PS5 game at full price (or more, since they seem to be raising prices anywhere from 25% to 50%). With a PC, which I can get for less than a PS5 and still run good games on low, or even get a pretty good PC, I can use it to work and make money (as I do), while with the console all I have is games and... I guess some media features that don't really matter all that much. I know nobody cares about poorer countries and they think people who happen to be born in poorer countries don't deserve fun or joy, but man does it suck to see companies keeping people from enjoying their free time more over scummy business practices.
I grew up with games with cheats that gave you cool little goofy things. I owned a book that had cheats for xbox 360, Wii, 3DS, PSP, and PS3. It was fun. Cheating on single player games harms no one.

Odd to base the Sony PC move with God of War 2018, Zero Dawn, and Days Gone: Two massive exclusives and a game that got shit on during release. It's like Nintendo releasing Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey, and Other M (or some equivalent for the Switch) for the PC and call it a bust if/when it sells a fraction of copies. The majority of people who'd be interested already bought it years ago at a time where the idea of them being on PC was unbelievable and the company is looking for extra sales from those who didn't buy the console and possible repeat buyers to have it on the two platforms. The real test is GoW R, Spider-Man 2, Wolverine, and even The Last of Us part 1.
a video by scott the woz comes to mind when it comes to console exclusives coming to pc and it went something along the lines of Microsoft and Sony aren't seeing the PC as a competitor anymore but as a companion. the pc gaming market is much different to the console gaming market, sony and microsoft putting their games on pc would only be a benefit to not just them but everyone. i'm seeing some people saying that console exclusives will go away but i don't think that's gonna happen, sony and microsoft are going to use the pc to compliment their consoles. now if only Nintendo could get on board with that idea.
Here is the thing about bloodborne: it was designed to run at 30 fps, even dark souls 2 that came before bloodborne runs at 60 fps so i doubt pc players would get it only for the fps. But then again the modders could probably remove the 30 fps cap. But it really does need a pc port.
Because there's no solid (keyword) reason to ever own another PS console anymore since they no longer care about true exclusive content, and that is why it's bad news for those who previously took pride (another keyword) of ownership of a PS console, and preferring the PS brand.

I mean, not only is Elden Ring a bigger name, being part of the Soulsbourne series, it's part of a franchise that's been around longer, and it released on 3 times as many platforms as HFW; Xbox, PS & PC. well, antagonism between companies is actually good sometimes. It forces them to make quality products, so they can get more sales. Sony loses their exclusives rn, which means people will stop buying PS for the exclusives, which means less sales, which means Sony will stop giving so effort on making games. One argument I never see made is how elitist exclusives are in the first place. I come from a country in which I would have to work for approximately 4 months to save enough for a PS5, assuming I save every penny. On top of that, I would need to work 28 hours to buy a single PS5 game at full price (or more, since they seem to be raising prices anywhere from 25% to 50%).
With a PC, which I can get for less than a PS5 and still run good games on low, or even get a pretty good PC, I can use it to work and make money (as I do), while with the console all I have is games and... I guess some media features that don't really matter all that much.
I know nobody cares about poorer countries and they think people who happen to be born in poorer countries don't deserve fun or joy, but man does it suck to see companies keeping people from enjoying their free time more over scummy business practices.

I grew up with games with cheats that gave you cool little goofy things. I owned a book that had cheats for xbox 360, Wii, 3DS, PSP, and PS3. It was fun. Cheating on single player games harms no one.

Same but with me. I had been a pc gamer for 4 to 5 years. Buy I tried to get a ps5. I couldn't. And me being impatient, said fuck it and built a pc. My previous rig was weak but I was able to play most games at low 720p. (Gt 1030 was the bottleneck.)

Also, DF and el analista make analysis on console games and they’ve shown them running at constant 60fps

Odd to base the Sony PC move with God of War 2018, Zero Dawn, and Days Gone: Two massive exclusives and a game that got shit on during release. It's like Nintendo releasing Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey, and Other M (or some equivalent for the Switch) for the PC and call it a bust if/when it sells a fraction of copies. The majority of people who'd be interested already bought it years ago at a time where the idea of them being on PC was unbelievable and the company is looking for extra sales from those who didn't buy the console and possible repeat buyers to have it on the two platforms. The real test is GoW R, Spider-Man 2, Wolverine, and even The Last of Us part 1.
a video by scott the woz comes to mind when it comes to console exclusives coming to pc and it went something along the lines of Microsoft and Sony aren't seeing the PC as a competitor anymore but as a companion. the pc gaming market is much different to the console gaming market, sony and microsoft putting their games on pc would only be a benefit to not just them but everyone. i'm seeing some people saying that console exclusives will go away but i don't think that's gonna happen, sony and microsoft are going to use the pc to compliment their consoles. now if only Nintendo could get on board with that idea.

Here is the thing about bloodborne: it was designed to run at 30 fps, even dark souls 2 that came before bloodborne runs at 60 fps so i doubt pc players would get it only for the fps. But then again the modders could probably remove the 30 fps cap. But it really does need a pc port.
Because there's no solid (keyword) reason to ever own another PS console anymore since they no longer care about true exclusive content, and that is why it's bad news for those who previously took pride (another keyword) of ownership of a PS console, and preferring the PS brand.

Honestly, I don't see why you would even need to look up the rough estimate of sales figures between HFW & ER. I mean, not only is Elden Ring a bigger name, being part of the Soulsbourne series, it's part of a franchise that's been around longer, and it released on 3 times as many platforms as HFW; Xbox, PS & PC. Of course it's going to sell more, ffs... If HFW released on more than just PS, it probably would've sold more too.
elden ring sold 10 million copies on steam. HFW wouldn't do that at launch even if it released day and date.

well, antagonism between companies is actually good sometimes. It forces them to make quality products, so they can get more sales. Sony loses their exclusives rn, which means people will stop buying PS for the exclusives, which means less sales, which means Sony will stop giving so effort on making games. I hate exclusivity, but I really hate games with no passion.

Sony loses money with Consoles, the only revenue they get is with games and PSPlus.
I’m pretty sure they actually DON’T lose money with consoles. From my sources, they make a 10$ profit from each console sold. That whole thing about them losing money on consoles is a myth.
