Thank you for sharing your expertise...made me question if I should pull the trigger and get a Glow Forge. I think for now I need to go back to the drawings board! LOL Sounds like I really need to build a more detailed business plan and how to approach the market I have in mind!! Great advice!!
Thanks for watching! Yeah, it's important to understand your market for sure. It's so important to be confident in what you're offering and to know who your customers are going to be before starting a business. Best of luck!
Great video. Just stumbled across your channel while researching lasers. Would you suggest going all in for your(my) first laser? Looking at starting out as doing this just as a hobby and then hopefully once I've learned more move it to more of a business/side gig to supplement my income. Budget right now isn't all that high but could potentially be stretched a bit. Any input is greatly appreciated.
I would recommend buying a laser that's within your budget but keep in mind that you do get what you pay for. I chose the Glowforge because it's easy to use and is a great entrance to laser engraving. It's a great machine to learn on but if your business becomes serious, you'll probably want to upgrade to a larger, faster machine.
Thanks for your great information! I am currently a p/t ‘Cricketer’ and I am about to purchase a Pro as I think it’s a natural progression for my business. I am also in Canada. Any tips about the purchase process from Canadian perspective such as purchasing using the business name to save taxes or any other tips before I go ahead ?
Congratulations and thanks for watching! Make sure you've got additional cash available to pay for the duties. I paid an additional $1100 fory Pro before it was delivered to me in Ontario. Best of luck and have fun creating!

Great vid,, 'a business coach'..what books would recommend for business?
Losing My Virginity by Sir Richard Branson was a great read. I'm not one for self help books tbh. I've always learned the hard way! 🤣
Great video, and very down to earth.
Thank you!
