@@Truthbeing888 I would say 01, 02, 04, 05, 13 he was on prime D wade level. Just looking at numbers. But 03 & 06 to 09 he was ‘98 MJ mvp level. & 2010 MJ wearing the 45 level. Again with true shooting & EFG and of course the eye test.
imo, this was more dominant than 07 cause in 06 they first changed the rules with hand-checking completely so refs were a lot more liberal with the whistles since the rules were not to clear with what the changes meant...but in 07 since both defenders and refs had a better understanding (after wade got shadow fouled to a championship), defense was a bit tighter so what he did was more impressive.
to me this is the best kobe year, the kind of shots he was making at the rate he was was just ridiculous. he made our shit team primetime, must watch TV.
@@kevinkim9620 07-08 you think is better than 06-07 yr saying correct?(:
The best tough shot maker in NBA history.
Man this season is hell of slept on. 🐍
i've waited so long for someone to post a 2007 highlight reel. such an underrated season. thanks for this!
Man this season Kobe was inhuman.
Kobe plays mad 😠 at all times.
He's ridiculous 🙄 hands down my favorite player of all time. Jordan was like a God I seen him play but I was a kid. With Kobe I was much older and really understood the game. It was literally a privilege to watch him play. I used to be geeked full of excitement. He rarely disappointed, gave me the same feeling Jordan did but I seen him fail so when he got back to winning I felt like I was apart of that. Idc what nobody says....it's Jordan then Kobe for me. LBJ is great but he's not them
The biggest difference between LBJ, MJ, And Kobe... Kobe has the mind and mentality. His ability to read footwork and body is unprecedented. While Kobe may not have been as athletic as the others. He could takeover when he wanted to. RIP to the
GOAT.
Agreed.
Kobe was great and in my opinion top 3 of all time but Jordan was better!Jordan’s footwork was better as well!Im an early 70’s baby!I seen both in their prime! This year I believe Kobe averaged 35 points!Jordan has averaged 35 points and that’s not even his all time high because he went for 37.1 in 87!So RIP to the black mamba but Jordan was even more unstoppable!
What??? Jordan had the mind and mentality. He was everything Kobe tried to be and so much better. Jordan was better offensively, defensively, athletically
Kobe was the best tough shot maker in history. Once he got into his zone , nobody could stop him.
Part of it is true but his shot selection is the worst by far. He lead the league in most missed shots ever by a player.
That is facts ,most difficult shot maker in the history of the Game....the true Goat Kobe.
@@WhoAreYou905 somebody has to 🤷♂️ its like nolan ryan leading the MLB in walks, Brett Favre leading the NFL in INTS, Brady leading the NFL in incomplete passes
Only reason why he has most bricks is because he took the bad shots, but it’s pretty amazing how good he still shot shooting with hands in face etc
@@7_k265 If you look at the "Most Missed Shots" in NBA history list, you'll see it's nothing but top 75 players at the top of that list. Ever someone tries to slander about Kobe having the most missed shots, it's laughable. LeBron is 3rd or 4th
For like 4 of his best athletic seasons... His supporting cast was smush parker, kwame brown, and Lamar Odom... Who was on craaaaaaack
LMMFAOOOOOOOOOOOO
This man kobe had 4 straight 50 point game
While goin 4-0 in that span...
@@AHMAD-2324 this man is inhuman and nothing like that will ever happen again.
For some reason, this is one of his forgotten great seasons despite being one of his best individually.
Probably because it ended in a really disappointing playoff defeat.
The 2007 season started greated for LAL with 26-13 then went downhill losing in the first round and the frustration of KB24 want to be traded. It was a turning point that resulted in a trade to Pau, the return of Fisher and 3 Finals 2 rings for Kobe and my beloved Lakers woohooo!
People forget that the lakers started off great, but Lamar Odom ended up missing 26 games that season too.
I'd want to get traded too
I always loved when he played in that purple jersey on the road. He always made sure to put on a show for the audience
Agreed. He was a diff beast when he wore purple
Thank you Max! 🙏 Haven’t wanted to watch much Kobe highlights since his passing but being a fan of your work when you started till now and being a Lakers fan since 1997, there aren’t many video creators I’m amazed by then you. You do Kobe justice with your videos then and now. That means everything to us Lakers fans.
Kobe's 05-06/06-07 seasons were so fun to watch because his team sucked and he got to take all the shots he wanted, which also happened to be his two career-high in points/season.
Agreed. 06-09 he was just as good as MJ ‘98 imo.
@@matthewheuel2508 '98??? Hell no. More like '87 Jordan. Those numbers and the way *Kobe* did it was some of the greatest scoring performances we've ever seen in basketball. You must be new to basketball 😂
@@matthewheuel2508 Jordan didn't even play a full season in 1998 😂 so we all know you don't know basketball lmfao
@@jenellkhem1590 I’ll take that (: I’m a Kobe fan. did you know Jordan won Mvp & finals mvp in 98? If you look at TS & EFG Kobe 06-09 was very much like the return of MJ from 95-98 effective wise (& mj play the full 82 in 98 but you know that cuz you know basketball (: ) they were basically the same player from that 3 year stretch in the late 90’s vs the late 00’s (06-09)

The Great Kobe Bryant at his absolute peak 28 years old his first year at number 24 still had his explosiveness plus peak skills I wish he had his 09 10 teams with this version of him.. The best version of him to me 03-07 was his peak to me
2006-07 Season is when the league pick up the pace again... Suns, Warriors, Raptors, Knicks, Bulls and Nuggets are must-watch basketball that season.
I always love reading the comments and seeing people argue with each other over meaningless things 😂. It doesn’t matter if you think he’s good or if you think he sucks…he got paid millions of dollars to play a game and we still have to go to work on Monday when we’d rather be playing basketball so…even if you think he sucks…he changed the history of his family financially, left a legacy and every person including me on the comments thread wishes we could do 1/10th of what he can do so…there’s that
His form was so perfect 😪
so beautiful. so graceful. He made basketball look like poetry.
Mamba Forever! 🙏🏾🔥
It's amazing how many And 1 calls Kobe should've gotten with no complaints. Probably have another 5000 points in the bag
My favorite player...legend...GOAT
never will be another kobe
MaxaMillion711 undisputed b-ball highlight king. Kobe was unbelievable and we may never see a player as talented and skilled as him for a long time.
Thanks Max for digging deep in the NBA archives for this brilliant mixtape! You can put almost any part of Kobe’s game in slow motion and find beauty. He didn’t have a single skill that far outweighed the others. Instead, Kobe had the most immaculate skill set in the game. #RIPMamba
The birth of number 24 💜💛
I was only 2-3 years old when Kobe put on this masterclass of a season😢 I wish I could’ve seen him live as a teenager RIP Kobe💜💛🐍
incredible guy, so graceful, so beautiful, RIP my love !
Phil Jackson was hard on Kobe Bryant he showed him no mercy .. and the less interest he showed in Kobe the hard Kobe worked.. he said he would never be as good as (Michael)???.. and that drove Kobe (crazy)""" the mind games Phil Jackson was a pure genius!!!!!
Thank you Max, you keep KBs memories alive 🙏
You give us the best Kobe highlights…much respect💯
I love that Kobe had everything in his game. He had no weaknesses. Kobe grew up watching MJ. This generation grew up watching Kobe. Who is the next generation going to emulate? Steph Curry, Lillard and Trey Young pulling up from the logo. Please no.
I see so many of today’s biggest stars with huge skill deficiencies - Giannis, Embiid - I just hope the next generation watches these videos to see just how skilled Kobe was and try to emulate him
Disagree with you about Steph he IS this generation’s Kobe, mj, iverson, etc, Steph is a BEAST
@@Punjabispitta he’s not even a good defensive player. All he can do is shoot - which he does incredibly well as an all-time great shooter and with incredible range - but that’s all he does.
@@amostlyreasonableguy all he does? Chill
@@jasonmoukala8909 I overstated this. You are correct. He was a solid defender and playmaker when he wanted to be. I still believe he was an overrated scorer due to shooting a low percentage, but I overstated things here.

I like all of your goat szn videos bro, it shows that your worked hard to make videos like this, and it's shows the complete highlight in a season. Pls do more of goat szn videos bro.
10 50+ point games in this season alone.
That's his best shooting/ scoring season right there and nobody knows it.
The mentality of kobe is insane
Bro u just gotta do every season at this point
Yes do every season of Kobe.. I’m down lol
This is so inspiring damn. 5 minutes in. I'm ready to work. His game was perfection.
I have no idea why this lakers bench is that unresponsive after these amazing plays 😤
When you get to that level nothing he does surprises you anymore. This was all so regular for him everytime you seen him play. Honestly, it's expected.
I think it’s blasphemous to have any list where Kobe ain’t top 3 let alone top 5 or 10 I can’t take it seriously 🤷🏿♂️
He’s not top 3 or top 5 but he’s top 10
Lol. How old are you?
Definitely top 5️⃣ he can fall anywhere after Michael Jordan and Kareem but definitely ahead of LeBron no matter what the media tries to get you to believe! Don’t kill me I am an older gentleman I’ve seen all of these players from the start of their careers! I hate the fact that they still forget about some of the greats like Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, and Elgin Baylor, along with many more
@@CJ-vh2hf he’s not ahead of bron

Bro was so good they have like 4 GOAT seasons on him
prob my favorite regular season kobe, more than 06, 03, 08, or 13. that 4 straight 50s with that ridiculous 65 againdt the blazers with that corner 3 in OT, being part of it... this was kobe with all the speed, strength, athleticism, skill, experience, and accuracy.
imo this was kobe's peak year
facts...
I think its unfair to just compare Kobe to MJ. I believe both he and Jordan solidified the position, and the playing style. Kobe in my opinion is the evolution of MJ but I wouldn't dare say that they play exactly the same. I think Kobe added a lot to the style of play. I dont think he's a clone of Jordon.
Nobody does it like you.

Best version of Kobe imo. Great stats all around. This gets overlooked by 06 & his mvp year in 08 but I think he was just as good as those two years. All three being his peak of his prime for sure.
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS, LETS GOOO

Top 3 all time
Overlooked season in my op still had somewhat young legs but he was evolving as a player

Kobe Bryant was like a machine he could do anything on the court and was automatic. By far the best player I have watched ever during these years when he put it all together.

I'm a huge celtics fan but I always respected kobe Bryant's game... I will miss him😢
His shot selection is probably the worst of all time yet he was making shots that wasn’t suppose to go in. I got kobe right behind Jordan in that all time list I don’t care about pretty stats he got the job done and was reliable when it mattered. He stepped up when Shaq would foul out and was injured at a very young age. Allot of people have to grow into being a killer he was naturally like that. But people will say well he missed the most shots ever but won’t say lebron leads the league in all time turnovers lol
💯💯👍🏾👍🏾
I remember this season Kobe put on a lot of weight. he also had 3 different Kobe zoom 2 models.
waisted his prime with no help. 05 to 07 was basically kobe vs 5.
I'm subbed. This is an awesome mix, video whatever anyone wants to call it. RIP Mamba🙏🏿
It's a shame that when Kobe was at his absolute best, the Lakers were a sub-par team.
Been thinking about that as well, 2005-2007 Kobe years he couldn’t make it out of the first round. Shows that it takes more than 1 all time player to win. Gasol helped tremendously share the load. That’s why I can only wonder what my favorite player, VC, could’ve done if he played with another all star. First 10 year peak he NEVER played with someone else who demanded a double team. The best scorer he played with in his first 11 seasons was Devin Harris. 😞 if only tmac stayed.
@@MaxaMillion711 Most definitely! If Tmac stayed and they were able to make it work defensively and health-wise, those two would've made the top 75 list. I believe either of them should've been on it.
Kobe and MJ were really two of a kind.
