Max.Please take a page from history. Rockstars and small plane flights don't go hand in hand...Good flying by the way!
I don't even like driving my car in the rain let alone flying in it. You did a good job, Max. Cheers! :)
Great video Max! Even though the plan didn’t work quiet as we planned we still had some fun! Absolutely no regret! We should do it again until the summer heat kicks on! 😊
Glad you made it back , and you did grease that landing ,bet you still thought you was airborne it was so smooth lol
luv it!
nice the c 150 :)
Had a similar situation flying from home base over to Illinois for some grub. 48knt headwind straight down the pipe, barely got the Cherokee down. We were basically hovering over the rwy all airspeed, no ground speed. Finally settled for touchdown and parked it for a few while we grubbed. An hour thirty five to destination, forty one minutes to home!
Maverick?
luv it you know what your doing thank you likes here :)
Thank you!
Very interesting flight. Thank you for sharing everything with us. Thank you for another great flight experience as well as great video. Please keep them coming, Max.
My pleasure!
Nice landing on that river.
Maybe you can take Alex to see the nuclear vessels next time?
Transparent aluminum??
Max, good to see you flying again! There's a reason they call them "sucker holes". I'm glad you guys decided to head back. I have few personal minimums. #1 Stay away from thunderstorms. Rain? It depends on how cold it is. #2 No IFR in icing conditions. You mentioned it was cold. If it's anywhere near zero celsius there is possibility of airframe icing. Also, I see you are aware of when you need that carburetor heat. When it's cold and damp, carb ice can sneak up on you. Lastly, I don't fly when winds are over 20 knots. Too much turbulence! Over all, I'm very impressed with your progress. Your instructors there must be pretty good. Now, get that instrument rating!!! Rick in Tucson.
Rick, that was the main takeaway from this flight for me when I got back on the ground: I need an instrument rating!! Btw, stay tuned for a big update on my flying / this channel. I just got back from purchasing something... in Arizona!
@@HeavyMetalHorizons Uh oh.... Does the wife know? Can't wait to see what it is!! Rick
Why in the heck does the ATIS at Van Nuys speak with a Russian accent?
It is a computer comrade! lol
