if you unbolt the fuel door and push the plastic/rubber housing thing back, you can pull the door off and make your life a lot easier. Hope this helps.
This is a great video. I replaced mine but I also needed to replace the fuel adapter assembly. While trying to fit the hose on I detached it from wherever else it connects to and cannot find it. Has anyone else encountered this issue?
Tbh this was a pretty easy job… did this while tipsy a little to fix my girls car round like 10 at night randomly and said might as well fix it since her trunk don’t close and her gas cap won’t open took about 20 min

Yup you just need wiggle and turn the plastic thepush it down

I had a hard time removing the boot so it is best to remove the gas door.
This looks so annoying to replace 😣
