I've got another Voctave video coming at you today on the Creative Channel!
This one is their Disney Princess Medley, and it was sooooooo good! I say it every time, but their arrangements are phenomenal. I also love how they make use of proper choral technique like stagger breathing. SO IMPORTANT!! I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did, and thanks for watching! :)

Mark Lowery co-wrote "Mary did You know". You will be amazed at his vocals with Voctave. He is also a comedian and he does a comedic bit with "Jesus on the Mainline" with Bill Gaither and the GVB.

I know I'm a couple years late to this, but as a former choir girl for four years, I love hearing the technicalities within my favorite groups. O come all ye faithful, o holy night, Mary did you know, joy to the world, etc etc etc are all incredible, although you probably have heard them before because you've listened to Voctave.

Mary Did You Know with Mark Lowery will have you tossing "biscuits" all over the place!! They will be live at East Carolina University in March and I plan to be there!!

If you enjoy film scores, Voctave did a medley with the Prince of Egypt, which is arguably one of the better film scores in history animated or not. They killed it of course, quite worthy of a listen id say!

Have you seen the Voices of Liberty at Epcot? Get to see many of the members of Vovtave every time I go. So good under the dome. I have seen them 4 or 5 times a year every year.plus at the Candlelight Processional every Christmas Season.

This has two of my favorite Disney songs Color of the Wind, and Mulan. They seemed to pick the perfect voices for each part
Check out Voiceplay's cover of Oogie Boogie song. It is done in costume and the bass Geoff sings lead. His bass and 5 octave range are awesome. He hits subharmonic notes
Note that the vocal ranges of the Princesses changes over the years. Snow White is a stratospheric soproano; Princess Aurora, while still a soproano, is a bit lower; by the time we get to Mulan and Pocohontas we've dropped to alto range. I'm not sure if this is Disney's way of making their heroines more relateable by casting them with more accessible vocal ranges, or to reflect that the women have become stronger and more self-reliant (Snow White and Aurora had to be rescued while Pocohontas did the rescuing).
I'd love to see you react to former Pentatonix member Avi Kaplan singing his song "Change On The Rise ". It is awesome!
Yeah, he's got a few good songs he's put out. My favorites are the summit and Aberdeen

Yo Chris! They are coming to Forsyth, GA Sat, DEC 18 and Auburn, AL Sun, DEC 19. That's 2 shows thats kind of close to you. They are awesome live as im sure would know. Had the privilege of seeing them twice and thinking bout going again this year. Let me know if ya go! Since it's Christmas time, "The Man with the Bag" "Christmas Waltz" very good! Enjoyed it!

Nice reaction to an exceptional a cappella group. Tis the Season, so you may want to check out a few of Voctave's Holiday offerings (in no particular order) Mary, Did You Know featuring Mark Lowry who wrote the lyrics, O Come O Come Emmanuel/The First Noel/I Wonder as I Wander, O Come All Ye Faithful, Joy to the World, The Man With the Bag and Jingle Bells and that's just off the top of my head. You really can't go wrong.

I know most people focus on the Sopranos but I will ALWAYS be in love with a true alto. I don't remember her name but Pocahontas is my absolute favorite. I may be biased since I also have an alto voice but still lol they're all ridiculously talented though!
