My favorite thing about battlebots is pretty much exactly what you guys already do. My partner and I started building smaller bots together for the same joy you two get as a couple. Tackling challenges together and watching the not-so-metaphorical sparks fly. We don't plan on having kids, but providing the entertainment to make other kids flourish with admiration for engineering and building that tight knit community of combat robotics is worth every sleepless night, penny, failure and triumph we do. That's what its all about and I have never been prouder to be a nerd.
What I like about Battlebots is probably that it’s both cool to see the fights, but just as cool to meet the people behind the robots. For example, what you do with all the Behind-The-Scenes stuff for us and interviews with teams. Other times, you can show up to an event and meet the teams and their bots, like Robot Ruckus last year, where I got to meet a bunch of Florida teams like Hypershock and Witch Doctor. I also once went to Wisconsin and booked a time to see Team Whyachi, and that was really cool to talk with Jake and Reese. 11:54 Also I love these bits at the end. Keep it up please lol
The best part is the sportsman! I love how people are very aware of the love time and money people put into their bots, and how although smashing is the game it's almost always exactly enough to end the fight
The robots are awesome but the people are the best part of Battlebots and robot combat as a whole. We are a respectful and friendly community where the trash talk is playful and everyone is really helpful
My favorite part of BattleBots is watching how the teams react to and overcome problems, especially with bts media like the builder blog and similar things. I've participated in one or two non-destructive robotics competitions before, just building something and putting it to the test is an experience in and of itself.
Yes, I still remember this video when originally uploaded and 2 years later it's back!!!!!! Well, now I understand why this front end was never used again
My favorite part about BattleBots is watching the fights and thinking in my head how I would change something about a bot to make it more effective In Design counter the effects that it's doing it to itself as well as the opponent and what I would do if I actually had the money to build a robot. I would love if we had something like NHL in the middle of Indiana that would be great is that I can start in a small scale
Well, at least you guys were able to take a pounding and keep going. You did get one good pin and a few hits on them, but then Cobalt just went to town on you guys. Admittedly not the best matchup for you guys since Cobalts weapon makes it hard for you to land hits with the saw since you have to worry about losing your weapon. Your ideal matchup probably would’ve been Whiplash since you don’t have to worry about losing your weapon. Also, Skorpios was still suffering from wheelie issues when this was recorded. Here’s hoping the Faceoff fights went better for you guys.
@Skorpios Battlebot, Zac & Diana, gratz on your anniversary. Welcome to the not listeni8ng to your fans section where you will be introduced to the consequences of NOT having a wheely-bar and as a side-note suggestion maybe you could make a way to eject your forks if they become too bent up in a match and then just depend on the front armor and the weapon. Good luck in your future matches.

"I am extra"
"Indeed"
Never a truer word spoken.

It’s definitely the satisfaction of watching crazy Roombas with rage issues tear each other apart in a glorified robot demolition derby.
I like the tactics and the strategy in the design work. Adapting to counter new threats and innovating new weapons.
"colbot" 🤣

Gotta say I was expecting more in hydra v cobalt.

Mine is finding Battlebots fans in unexpected places
I would love to see a Battlebots Intercontinental Championship and Global Championship
