Very well done. Bravo. This must be a 204 from the last series. I had the same one in the same color from 1976.
But sold, which I regret from time to time. Have fun with it and good driving.

Thanks for the comment. Would like to know where are you from.
This is a 72 model, after most changes. It has the xk4 engine with the second gearbox which doesnt have reverse light.
The washer pump is a add-on i did myself using wiring harness from a 76' model.
The steering is of the "mid range" model, but you should wait for the next video to see the new one...
Also, backlights are the 3rd and latest model, as well as the grille.
Back then, they used to change things very often while an existing model was on sale...

Bonjour from New Zealand. Love these oldtime Peugeots🦁, we had many in Uganda during my childhood in the 1960's to early 70's. The business people, school teachers, public servants etc loved them. The 'familial' models were used as long distace taxis. In the francophone countries Peugeots were almost the only vehicles. They were built to last, the engine and the 🌻mechanicals were 🏵solid and the bodywork. My favorite models are the 203,403, the smaller than your car, 104(I think) and this 203. The 404, 504 and the six cylinder 604 were good too but for body shape I like those I listed.
How is the parts availability, OEM and aftermarket?☘

      Hi.
Thank you for your comment (lots of people watch, but rarely comment...)
Some parts are very hard to find (like the door trim in my interior color, some exterior strips etc) and some are very common and easy to find.
Where im living there are barely any parts, so I ordered everything from abroad.

@@DIY-Mechanic Here's an idea - could you, if possible, make a series of videos on those old French companies who supplied parts for Peugeot, Citroen, Renalt etc. Companies like Paris-Rhone, S.E.V, etc. Tell their history, where they were manufacturing, the workers, if they are still operating etc. These short, videos of about 10-15 minutes around your Peugeot would be interesting and bump up the viewers and subs.
