I never realized he this was his last solo. I had always thought this demo version was so much better than the finished one. It captured such a real and emotional performance.

He has never given the credit to the genius who even Viv has said "90% of what we play Steve left us". Facts - Leppard have achieved nothing successful record wise after their genius, their primary song writer, and master of creating epic harmonies, melodies, hooks, bends and his iconic riffing. That's context.
