This case made me so angry. How could someone do this to their child. I just don’t get it. AND THEN TO HEAR NO CHARGES WERE FILED?!? The police failed him from the get go. There was so much to be suspicious of that they just overlooked. I need Janie to get every karma coming to her. This is heartbreaking. Rudy will be recovering and trying to heal for the rest of his life. I hope at some point he is able to have true happiness and trust with himself and others because how can he trust anyone after this. Just sad and sickening

I’m from the Rio grande valley Tx it’s located low south part of Tx, and the border is literally behind my house no joke and here we speak with the valley Spanish dialect matter of fact I think that is where that originated from

I'm about halfway through and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if a) the reasons they got to the traffic accident before the responders was because the mom had something to do with it (knowing she was competing for her son's affection), and/or b) it wasn't Rudy writing those insightful FB posts, but Janie herself.

I genuinely think he wrote those posts mainly because if his mom had written it, she would have added herself in by saying "I'm so grateful that my mom is by my side". He needs a lot of time and space to heal. While he is a smart person, he is also vulnerable and easily manipulated because he only had his mom for his whole life. People who have been abused by their parents have a very hard time accepting that someone who claimed to love you has robbed you of so much of your life. Sorry for my English
