SK is so strict with their drug laws can't even smoke a blunt without getting an 8 years in prison, I actually don't know how much jail time one receives but, I know it's more than violent criminals get and that's sad and unforgivable. Even one can be fired from a job if u don't go to the after work drinking get togethers and have to continue to drink till ur boss says he/she is done drinking. That was a bad comparison since I technically don't believe alcohol should be legal. But attempting to outright ban alcohol will result in a prohibition mk 2. I had a Korean classmate from university back in my home country. Her family moved to the Philippines before she started high school and stayed to finish her degree. I remember her telling me that she'll never date or marry a SK man. She didn't go into details but she said "they're no good at all". She's now a doctor and living back in Korea to help her countrymen. If so, she should get one of those so she can be more comfortable and not worry about getting soiled. But, I have to admit she is so strong and mighty in such a small body. I know another US case similar to this one and it was done to an adult, unfortunately she did not make it tho. I do hope sooner than later that SK changes their whole Judicial system to help protect victims instead of the other way around. Some of them make convinced themselves this means to an end is better for everyone or better for themselves, others are so biased or discriminatory they feel that this action no matter who it harms will make things better for a certain group of people who are more deserving and yes they are typically going to group them in with that more deserving population as well. Many of them will consider the fact that they are willing it to go out and do what some would call a heinous act is evidence of their being other because they're the ones that are willing to be an alpha individual and do the thing that average people are too cowardly a nd average, too beta if you will, to be willing to do what is necessary to maintain not only their own survival but their way of life or the way of life they feel they deserve along with whatever demographic they feel is also deserving the way they are.

Last he looks at this not as his home the sea is his territory, and that time in prison did not make that any less true in his mind of anything it's sharpened that sense of entitlement over an entire city. The law doesn't matter, please don't matter, even the public doesn't matter at the end of the day he views it as his territory and he is reclaiming it and he wants them to know it.
Annette theory about them being able to relate to the perpetrator, I wouldn't say all politicians are people in power but I would definitely say a disturbing number many probably don't even realize it... Mostly because just like the perpetrator many of them have a false inflated ego that leads to you and obnoxious sense of self-righteousness, meaning of the very idea of them having to think of what they're doing is wrong or worse disgusting is absolutely offensive to them as they think of themselves as "other". The primary similarity between the two groups or individuals and question being that they are completely okay with detrimentally affecting the lives of individuals and or large groups of people even in a very detrimental way because it solves a means to an end... Some of them make convinced themselves this means to an end is better for everyone or better for themselves, others are so biased or discriminatory they feel that this action no matter who it harms will make things better for a certain group of people who are more deserving and yes they are typically going to group them in with that more deserving population as well. Many of them will consider the fact that they are willing it to go out and do what some would call a heinous act is evidence of their being other because they're the ones that are willing to be an alpha individual and do the thing that average people are too cowardly a nd average, too beta if you will, to be willing to do what is necessary to maintain not only their own survival but their way of life or the way of life they feel they deserve along with whatever demographic they feel is also deserving the way they are.
It's not a good day when some one makes me thankful for the harshness and heavily discriminatory practices of the US prison and justice systems.

I think the point is how the crime is treated, because saudi has strict laws for drugs but CRAZY strict laws for sexual offenders, which is not the case in SK. I dont think anyone is questioning the cultural thing
