My entire collection of tools is Dewalt with the exception of a couple bosch 12v tools. I probably have 12 Dewalt 20 volt tools. All of them combined do not get used as much as my Bosch 12v Drill and Driver. Love how small and light they are. So nice to lay them on their side without thinking about it.
I just got into bosch tools. I really liked the compactness and power of the 12v system. So far I've purchased a router, a 5in one driver, sawzall, flashlight, and jigsaw. I also purchased an 18v 6.5" saw and I had a set of drills, and an impact driver. Hope they last.
I like the fact that it drives a bit slower. Even with my brushed flexiclick, I still end up overdriving some of my screws that I predrill and countersink if I'm not careful enough.
It's a quality machine that gets lost behind all the faster, heavier duty, more popular tools. I appreciate it for exactly what it is, a quality 12v driver
I like the bright LEDs because I help my dad with boats and they have lots of dark tight spaces. I've always used milwaukee 12v and wanted to give bosch a try because they are just like milwaukee and their german. This video helped alot. Thanks
Están muy bonitos lastimas que todos no tenemos la opción de comparalos acá en latinoamericana son más caros pero si me arian falta para mi trabajo 👍🇻🇪
I got both Boschs. The ps42 impact looks and feels amazing but the power isn’t there, very under powered unfortunately compared to other 12v and even brushed models.
Yeah. I agree. That was my problem at first too. I felt the impact wasn't powerful enough compared to everything else out there. Then I stopped comparing and let it do what it does. I find I enjoy using it more and more each day. 975 in lbs of torque is plenty for what I need. Loaded with a 3ah batt it chugs along for days. It fits in my bag nicely and has a great feel. Yes, there are faster, more powerful, less expensive options out there but you like what you like and this guy is growing on me
They go good man 👍. I definitely don’t mind Bosch as a brand. They have come out with a lot of dependable tools over the years. Nice video brotherman 👍
Like everyone says, you can't go wrong with Bosch. Just don't hold your breath for a complete cordless platform. This drill/driver is one of the most underrated tools out there in my opinion. It's a sleeping giant.
The Brotherhood of Essential Trades well they do have some cool 12v tools including the router. It would be cool if you got that and did a review (only if it’s something that you would use) thanks again for sharing brother 🤜🤛
Agreed. I've always been in Bosch's corner. They're just slow to bring tools to the market and when your not married to their platform it makes it easier to go invest in other brands. The router does look interesting. As does the 12v planer. We will see how deep the Bosch rabbit hole goes...
@@jonasizexpat I got the Milwaukee m12vhammer drill gen 2 kit with 5 heads, You don’t even need to remove the hex screwdriver when adding a hammer chuck, too bad bosch does not have this function and instead Requires you by two tools, GSR 12v-15 or 35 brushless is impact and BSR 12v 15 or 35 brushless is hammer

I just bout this set for $49 on clearance at Lowes. There were a bunch of other 12v Bouch Tools on clearance if you are getting into them.
@@actualname6876 thanks for the tip.

You can't go wrong with either. Both brands(M12 and Bosch) work well and get the job done with ease. Thanks for checking out the video
Clean Install, we will be at Knowledge Fest Thank you for the content
I think Lowes is selling off the 12v brushed models to make room for the 12v brushless ones.
They should. I think the Brushless tools are just over all better tools

The Brotherhood of Essential Trades yes! I forgot about the planer also
This is not brushless, if it is it would have the ec brushless logo
It’s brushless, seems like Bosch stopped using the EC brushless logo. It says brushless on the top and the back, before the clip is mounted.

Says brushless right on top of gear box selector switch also
