Hey Terri, next time you fix a steak let it set out an hour to come to room temperature. Less cooking time and it’ll be a more even cook. Also, if you’re looking for another meal option I buy beef stew meat and cook it 8 hours in my crockpot with just enough water to coat the bottom to prevent sticking and before it’s done(maybe an hour before) I add a stick of Kerry gold butter. It’s delicious and easily makes me 4 meals.
A Porterhouse and T-bone are steaks that are both cut from the Beef loin. They both include one side that is a strip steak and the other side (the smaller side) is a tenderloin/filet. The Porter house is cut from the rear of the Beef loin and has a larger tenderloin portion.
The porterhouse is a step above the T-bone. It has an extra piece of meat on it (tenderloin?) I learned that WAY back in the day when I worked at Ponderosa right out of high school HA! Oh MAN it looks delish! Nice to see your friend's shop and your nails look great! Good job Angie!

I didn't know adding butter was fancy, I just started doing that. Pork shoulder extra thin. It was on sale. I lift weights to keep using my cast iron. I figure I have a smaller one so not all will be lost.

I used cream for a sauce and after reading the ingreadients of the " sweet cream" ...it had 0,3grams of sugar...but butter got sugar** too...so I try to find out if a fasting helps to get back faster into ketosis? BUT its 4 days😮

I used it for years in my coffee. It tastes amazing and mixes up perfectly. I’m trying it in my creami. I had 1 serving left and added the xantham gum and glucomannon like I do the equip. I’ll let you know this week!
I cook my ribeyes, and porterhouses in my air fryer…they come out super!

Thats how i clean my cast iron. Sometimes if its real greasy feeling i will use soap. I know, we're not supposed to.
I sure do use soap after I deglaze it. I think they didn’t use soap when it was that harsh lye soap back in the olden days
A Porterhouse steak is just a very thick T-Bone the top is New York Strip and the smaller part is tenderloin.

I can't seem to put anything on my steak except garlic powder, salt and pepper. I do lay ot in 3 thin pads of butter while it rests.❤
