It's much more important to reward good behavior and teamplay than punish toxicity and 1v9 mentality
1v9 mentality is literally the opposite of toxicity? joining a game under the pretense you're going to have to 1v9 means any contribution from teammates is strictly positive and any mistake they make is within expectations; and that losing the game is solely on you since you're supposed to have 1v9'd but failed to do so. 1v9 mentality is never-surrender mentality, and it is also a learning mentality
@@leek01234 it also promotes a selfish main character playstyle where you try to feed yourself at the cost of your allies. I've seen people be desperate to be the carries when they're behind and ruin games because of their hyper fixation on making solo plays
You described the never surrender mentality and even mentioned it, which I'm all for myself, but I added these differences to my interpretation of the concepts. We just have different ideas that come to mind when we speak about 1v9
Not how it works neither in game nor irl, you don't congratulate someone for not robbing another person, you punish the ones who do it and ideally, you put them in a place where they can't do it for a certain period of time and try to reinsert the robber to society, it should be the same in league, but the "reinserting" part is *completely* missing, you just get chat restricted (punishment), and then just check a box that says that you """understand""" that being toxic isn't good, like HOW that solves ANYTHING at all
You’re literally being rewarded for not being an ass in this system because being a decent person lowers your odds of being matched with dickheads
It wouldn't solve anything. Prisoner Island que is just a punishment not a rehab. At best it'll get some players to stop playing the game depending on the time spent there.
Instead thinking of punishments they should simply only reward the good ones. Higher rewards to those with good honor and accurate reports.
They shouldn’t do this for toxicity but they should absolutely do a prisoners island queue for greifers
The problem is man, no automated system that they have at least right now will be able to detect a griefer from someone playing the game just being bad..... We really need that though like, come on AI

Yes you definitely should do prisoners island. Think of it like prison. Some people just need help, so they should get second chances, think of it like rehabilitation, and some people need to learn a ****ing lesson. You want truly bad and bad intentioned people to leave the game? Put them with a bunch of other miserable people who want their way just as much with zero accountability and watch them eventually give up or beg for forgiveness.

Can we start banning trolls/inters/griefers? The game is really frustrating to play and you guys are focusing soley on toxicity which isnt the root of the problem
