Dane here.. can somebody tell me, why is it called boxing day? In Denmark it Christmas eve today the 24th - where we celebrated with our traditionel dinners and gifts and dance around the christmas tree.. the next 2 days are called 1st and 2nd christmas day... where we go visit family and friends, where we often have our "julefrokost".
It was from old days with the big houses even way back to medieval times the staff who were downstairs all Christmas serving the upstairs would have the next day off , and they would receive presents of hampers etc from their employers (hopefully!) to take home to their families ❤
Could you imagine if Meghan tried to change that rule 😂 Jokes aside the reason the royals open gifts on christmas eve is because that is what those on the continent do. And remember the royals are greek and german heritage. Queen Victoria was fluent in German as her mother was German. Before windsor, they were the house of saxe coburg and gotha. Many of our 'english' traditions are actually german.
She made such a song and dance about him - split up now - second time. Had him on the show - so we want to hear no more about this. She invites her ex husbands to spend Christmas with her , along with their partners! Very very weird!!
The story about Uncle Ray's quirky Christmas game was absolutely hilarious! It’s those odd family traditions that make the holidays so memorable
Very uplifting ladies 😂😂😂 thank you and Happy Xmas from Ireland 💚💚💚💚
All the girls look fab, especially Janet
I had a cousin of an aunty that used to do magic at her Christmas party in the 80’s was a huge treat for us kids ❤
Hope the right person turns up at Judy’s door 😊 Coleen and Janet are great together. Merry Christmas from Australia. Lovely panel ❤
