Great episode lovely ladies and Jules is always delicious. House number 1 was an artists dream.. imagine sitting out on that balcony paining the loch in Autumn? The other 2 houses were gorgeous too but I would have said "I'll buy your house (no1) for $800K but please leave the furnishings as they are. And aren't the tartan rugs and wallpapers in Scotland to die for? Thanks for a great episode. cheers from Western Australia
I don't think the celebrity version is ever meant to take the actual buying seriously. No-one expects a "celebrity" to go on this programme and show the rest of the UK where they really live. It is just a bit of fun at Christmas time. I enjoy them.
I find the celebrity episodes boring it’s like they have no intention of buying just on it for fun.I prefer when it’s ordinary people much better fun and not so staged.
I'm so thankful that I've got to watch this episode because of you!😍 Scotland's scenery is just stunningly beautiful! My favourite this time, the mystery house.
Wow! Scotland is so beautiful 😍 loved this episode. The ladies were hilarious and Jules was amazing as usual. Kaye may not yet be ready to move but it was lovely to see her discover areas so close to her present home.
Kaye also mentions the Trossachs, the range of hills seen from the second house, which she pronounces more like Trussacks as some Scots are wont to do.
Thanks for a tour around my grandparent's part of the world. Stirlingshire is so similar to where I live in Canada. I really enjoyed the ladies' cheeky and playful banter. House #4 for me!
The first house was a dream in every way. The second and third properties were lovely but rather large. You'd definitely need domestic help to keep it clean. The third house was too dated and you really noticed this after seeing the other three. Jules was charming as always and the witty remarks between the two friends was fun. And as for Scotland...oh my God what scenary! 😍
The first house was charming, though its decor felt dated, which is quite common in many UK properties. The second house required a lot of updating. The 'Mystery House' had some nice elements, but again, some rooms were dated in interior decor. Easy to fix for the most part. Scotland's landscape never disappoints beyond the magnificent.
Great analysis, thank you! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
Fun episode. Love all the locations. For sure, the first home is comfycozy, and my favorite. Love the moo cows, and chickens. Would absolutely love a scarf, and throw in every color. Beautiful.
In Canada a historic home would have a plack outside with the year it was built and who originally lived in it and most of these houses are protected like in the uk but you people use the term grade 2 listed same here but no signs for the buyer to be aware of cheers
I absolutely Loveee this show from the US!! I’ve learned a lot about the UK from it, and it makes me want to visit more. But . . . I didn’t like this episode at all. The only redeeming things were the beauty of Scotland and the homes. Adams came across as pretentious and insincere. She went out of her way to point out the hole in her friend’s socks (2X), which was unkind. She poked at her friend a few times. A few uncomfortable moments. Not sure why the other lady is her friend. She seemed to make everything about her and to some extent her status. It seemed she didn’t take anything seriously. This is the first time I have just not liked an episode. She really gave Jules a run for his money.
Do you know when I first access this channel? I thought I was going to find the episode where it actually left the viewer know which choice the person who is buying the house chose now you just leave people up in the air. It’s not fun and I won’t be back because I like to know what choice they made.
Escape to the Country on RUclips now....not enough people watching on BBC TV? It certainly needs more changes. The boring bits where locals say everyone is So friendly, what a great place to live, lots to do etc etc and that awful music. UGH.
For us foreigners, you tube is the only option, as we don't have access to BBC. The producers are hardly going to have interviews with locals moaning about bad transport links and hateful neighbours ! What are your suggstions for changes, or maybe this just isn't the programme for you ?
Wonderful episode. Scotland never disappoints. The saucy banter was great fun.
What a lovely episode, beautiful countryside.

Stunning Scotland, Thankyou.

Good point.
great episode and now I have a source to buy Scottish hand-made scarves and other items for my friends and family of Scottish heritage! Brilliant
I always enjoy the episodes with Jules.

Yep. Addicted to craving attention.
Well said. They should just call this series ‘Celebrity Field Trip’ and be done with it.
yes...just a way of advertising her blog, that we heard about constantly !! ...its 'look, im still around' !
You are envious.
totally agreed.
I'm so thankful that I've got to watch this episode because of you!😍

My favourite this time, the mystery house.
Jules, you have made this so interesting. How clever you are. Thanks for an excellent presentation.

I would give my left trussock for house 1. ❤ Having said that, the interior design of the mystery house was fantastic!
I am unfamiliar with the word trussock, but something tells me that that’s not an arm or a leg
@dutchman8129 hahaha they made a joke about tussocks in the video. It's a small area of grass. But here the meaning is implied. 😆

I too love a ‘utility room’ (laundry room) where you can leave an ironing board up all day.
Love the mystery house. Combination of modern and tradition. The conservatory is beautiful.
this show is amazing❤❤❤😊😊
Thank God, four houses! Divine Scotland. Greatest Craic with house hunters. House and view of first house fabulous. From Ireland 🍀💃
A lovely break for a visual wish. = For this Elder Canadian Scot. = The loch house for size and peace of mind!
Such a fun episode.
These ladies were a hoot!!! Great episode 🙂
😊😊always amazing..im living in sardegnia italy there is not such an amazing countryside as in england..lovely❤❤

If you are downsizing, no 1 is perfect.
Are you sure its not kaye in escape FROM the Country🏴
😂😂beans on toast❤❤
Those gals are a hoot!!!
The third property is a travesty. Why buy a beautiful looking character property and then sanitise it inside to look like a Wimpy showroom.
That is exactly what I thought. People ripped out every charm of the old house. They should have built a new one elsewhere.
Are these episodes infomercials for real estate agents?
No because you never see the agents names.
Absolutely 👍 😊

Linford Christie in episode 1 needed this house.
...house number 3, I mean.
Loved the scenery of the first house but wasn't crazy about the interior. Like the last house but interior bit cold for me.
So doubt any intention of buying then my opinion
No mention of the elephant in the room, adequate internet access.
Is her friend Aggie McKenzie's sister from Kim and Aggie??
Good morning
Evelyn Jepsonunfortunately, the counter tops should be changed, as they keep their dirt, and can't be cleased properly.
She not serious to buy any house...just window shopping.

Why would you bother to watch if it pains you so much?
