Walk through step-by-step demos: Using Social Stream with OBS: go.catmulvihill.com/socialstreamobs Using Social Stream with Ecamm: go.catmulvihill.com/socialstreamecamm
Very helpful tutorial. As someone not familiar with OBS I think it's going to take some work to learn this whole process. The problem for me is setting this all up with Zoom Webinar before students arrive is next to impossible.
If you have a Mac and want to display comments, you may want to consider Ecamm Live. It's a paid subscription, but the Pro plan has a Zoom integration so you can post comments. You can see a demo from a livestream I did on Ecamm's channel in the Spring. You can jump right to the section about comments here: ruclips.net/user/liveYIhgo90J8lg?si=dzC2kuDKv7o7kNyo&t=922 Now, you mention students, so I'm not sure if you are on an Education plan that might require admin approval to use the integration. That's something to keep in mind.
@@CatMulvihill sounds like ECamm Live is a bit easier to use. Unfortunately in this case it’s a windows computer. Will work on trying with OBS. We just have the regular webinar plan for 500.
Thank you Cat. I have been using Social Stream Ninja for a while, however I was unable to figure out how to que up the comments that were of interest. the simplicity of 'Ctrl + Select'. Thank you for another great video.
Hi Cat, great video! Got it to work following step by step. I have a question. Will it only work for attendees to a Zoom meeting that only accessed Zoom through a Chrome browser? So if they access via a Zoom phone app, for example, will it still work?
this is awesome. Would love it if this worked with the App as well. Its a bit of a PITA to have to login with a different person on a web browse every time
Fantastic video. I get everything to work BUT I cant get the color fo the line around the image of the person to change. Its orange even if I changed the color on the name bakground to red. (UPDATED) Got support in three seconds in the stream-ninja discord. He changed the setting in the code so it should work now

Hey Cat - this is super interesting. It’s kinda convoluted but it works REALLY well in Ecamm as you demo’d. Thanks so much for a great tip!!!
Happy to share it! I'm surprised there isn't more content about it since it's been around for a while!
This channel should have infinity subs
Thank you so much 😊
After some tweaking, everything worked as advertised. Looking forward to blowing one of my groups away next meeting. 😎 Keep crushing it! ❤
Please keep me posted!!
super underrated channel... thanks Cat!
This was really great, Cat. You explain things very well and this lesson got me up and running beautifully in Zoom. God bless you.

Thanks so much for this - I would have been overwhelmed by this trying it on my own, but your walkthrough made it a breeze!! ❤🥳
Very very cool Cat! Thank you so much - definitely something I'll play around with to up level my zoom presentation skills 🔥

Great. Thank you. I am waiting for this such a long time 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I wish I figured it out sooner, but better late than never!
Really great Thanks for testing it out Cat⭐️
You are so welcome!
Super great video and EXACTLY what I was looking for. Is it possible to use this with Zoom AND stream to RUclips at the same time?
Hello, Wow, Congratulations 👍👏👏👏👏 I am impressed. Awesome
Once again, amazing content. Thanks for sharing the knowledge. :)
My pleasure! This was a fun video for me 😊
This is AMAZING! Thank you so much for making this video.

Great video Cat. Have you played with the other features within social stream? What else can it do???
Can you use Q&A from zoom in place of chat?
This is cool. Does it allow for the chats to appear automatically or always click to show?
can you use the emote tools in social stream from zoom to obs?
Does this work with Google meet?
Great info Cat!
Thank you for this
