Sonex... imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, long live Steve Wittman and following designs inspired by Steve & the Tailwind.
This looks great, and with a centre stick.
Nice to see a new fast high wing design! Please, Sonex, make this cope with properly tall guys! I'm 6'6" and finding a plane that fits can be a real challenge. A speedy economical aircraft with Sonex build times would be very appealing :)
Make it a fast option! 160+ mph for us tall folks! At a quick glance, it almost looks like a Whitman Tailwind like aircraft. I've wanted a Tailwind, but it's not roomy for taller folks (6'2"+).

Exactly what I've been looking for - fully cantilevered aluminum high wing. Love my A-model Waiex/Jab3300 I built- but know that within 10 years (when hit 65) - getting in/out of it will probably start to be more of a challenge. I started looking at the Jabiru SP230 during AirVenture this year - but this is now possibly my path forward - perfect timing on the announcement to start the planning!
