@@RoboticsBay Dark has a strong personality. He knows he's better than most people. (single digit number of players that can even contest that Dark isn't just objectively better than them). And more so that any other player he plays like he knows he's better than people. He takes short cuts because he knows that you'd have to be as good as him to actually punish those shortcuts.
Dark's aura exudes confidence and a belief that he can beat anyone.

I think we should have a caster card for Winter.
Name: President of Starcraft.
Abilities
-Clairvoyance: knowns none of us are playing SC and calls us out for it.
-Hypnotize: Whilst talking makes SC2 games 400% more interesting.
-Necromacy: Somehow keeps SC2 alive even though it should have died a while ago.
-Random Mutation: Sometimes becomes part of swarm hive and can read the mind of Queens.
-Multipotentialy: Can make rap songs about Protoss build order.
Terran Lover: casting enthousiasm +50% when marines are stimming and winning.
Doesn't care about zerglings: only talks about them when more than a 1000 have died.
Cares about Protoss:Points out when 2 Protoss units die.
If you've watched his Angry Coach series you'd see he's quite capable of reading the minds of all metal league & diamond players. Knows them better than they know themselves
Irony: The player will prove Winter wrong instantly when given a compliment
Winter when Dark leaves for the military can should do a best of Dark compilation or something in his honor. It'd be fun to recollect all his crazy builds and moments. Not sure how it would work on the channel but it would be cool
I've been enjoying the Nightmare coverage! His Protoss has a certain taste that makes it more enjoyable to watch out of the other Toss players. In my opinion of course.
I vote to not watch furher until Nightmare wins a series again! I agree, Nightmares Protoss is fantastic to watch. That Mothership was just a crash test thats all 😂
Man I just love watching Dark so much. All of these games were so entertaining. Serral takes a hit and it barely slows him down, but Dark rides that line so tight that he's able to perform some seriously awesome styles with that extra range.

There is such a huge gap between the top 10 sc2 players and everyone else. Dark is just playing with this dude. It's crazy.
Nooo Nightmare game 1... not noticing that his Fleet Beacon had been taken down, and letting his Carriers get taken down was a death sentence!
I love watching Dark games where he really gets an eco up and running in the midgame. He hits 3 or 4 bases at a time with relentless pressure.
Need more unit voices. Maybe carriers have terran envy and say “in the pipe 5 by 5” and then another carrier says “that’s their line” and the the carrier says “actually it’s from the 1979 movie Alien”.
I have to go cook dinner.. So I will close the video and watch it later.. Im not going to throw away such GOLD "listening" to Nightmare (my new fav.) vs Dark.

plus they are the cheapest units, one of the fastest, probably the most efficient meat unit in the game and ridiculous damage

They're just for show. The abilities on them reflect how the player plays, but they don't actually modify anything in game.

Wanted to let Winter know that his dark card says roaches and ravagers for hatch but you can't get those till lair
I assume the idea of his cards is that the players get some sort of unique ability that's impossible in the game. Like faster marines or whatever.

I respect Dark because he's the only zerg that actually makes moves/plays. All other zergs just sit there and play the inject and creep spread minigame until they win.
Yeah, I hate all those passive zerg players like Reynor, Rogue, Scarlett, DRG.... Good thing we have Dark, the only aggressive Zerg player in the world!

Such a sad game 2. The only thing I've ever seen work against swarmhosts, not that I see them much, is to immediately blitz the opponents main with most of the army.

Dark is an amazing player and in game 1 beautifully exemplifies my issues when playing PvZ as a protoss. He starts making units at 5:54 (3:51 in the video) and takes a 46 supply lead by 7:16 (5:14) after expanding to 5 bases and doesn't even need to sacrifice upgrades. By the time he arrives at NightMare's base, he has 42 more army supply, allowing him to a-move 3 bases at once while remaking 40 supply worth of units, so he destroys the 4th and doesn't even drop in supply. Once that happens protoss is left to constantly try to rebuild his expansions while Dark faces no danger to his economy. As a much inferior player to NightMare, this is where my macro game would end and I find it incredible he could come back from that. This is why protoss has to so often resort to tricks, yet many of those tricks got patched in the past updates.
yeah queens are just so insanely strong
in brood war zerg often has to sacrifice their early game eco to deflect harass with zerglings, mutas, or sunkens, but in sc2 zerg can build basically nothing but drones and queens can deflect any harass with no larva or gas cost, on top of actually improving larva production

Protoss is so weak to Z. Play hard just to get to late game, end up with the weakest army that loses to cheap units everytime. Has to run away from taking straight engagements with a 'deathball' because it will lose, then it loses.
