In this video we take an early look at the Adidas Trae Young 3:
Although the setup may be completely different, bounciness is sufficient for most types of players. As we wait for the official tech specs, I would consider this midsole to be fairly responsive. Traction is decent despite having no squeak to the outsole, minimal dust pick up but durability for outdoor use is a concern. For the best fit, I would strongly recommend going DOWN A HALF SIZE to avoid heel slippage. Wide footers, you are good to go. Stability is not the best out there, however weight has seen a slight reduction so this is not a heavy shoe.

The adidas page had vague info at first and now I heard that they updated it to boost and lightstrike as the cushion. I’m getting these for sure!😅 I’m late to the game on the Trey series…I never had the 1’s and just got 2 pairs of the 2…n I really like everything about that shoe!!

Hey man just wanna thank you because after I watched this video a few times, I finally decided to copped a pair and it didn't disappoint. It is my first time to have a trae young kicks so I was very skeptical because just the way I look at them it kinda looks uncomfortable, but now that I have them and played them today. man, my thoughts on it has completely changed, they are way comfortable, responsive and low to the ground kicks. They will definitely on my rotation now. Also I followed your advice to go half a size down so there won't be any heel slippage and glad I did it because I didn't feel any of those while playing in them today. Thank you again as I've always watch your vids before copping shoes just to have an idea on how they are performance wise. Keep doing your thing man we are blessed to have atleast a solid reviewer here on youtube that we can rely on.

I'm wearing Harden 7 well after Dame Certified. I'm interested to hear that Trae Young 3 is superior to the previous one. Harden 7 is having a hard time in summer due to severe ventilation problems. What would be the ranking if I compared Dame Certified Harden 7 Tray Young 3 only with breathability?

Reviewing these when thay are big on you isnt really fair man. Lots of stuff dont work when a shoe is too big. A great shoe can turn good and a good shoe can turn bad all due to the wrong size. Id love for you to re review these in your actual size. But anyways, how did you get these?? I cant wait they look awesone. Also on Hibbets website it says Futurenatural, Torsion, and Boost/Lightstrike. Then also on Hibbet it changed to just EVA. So not sure but I really hope its Bounce Pro. But Adidas usually has it written on the shoe if its a proprietary foam which makes me think its just EVA.
I already went down a half size 😂 And as mentioned some people could maybe even go down a full size, I tried on 3 different sizes, half size down was the best option and would be my recommendation.

Given trae wears those bulky heel ankle brace this makes sense
The heel slippage can be fix, just go down half a size instead of your regular size, I worn my Adidas basketball shoes for US 10.5, usually I worn US 11 for Nike basketball shoes
Or just use a runner's loop lace up. Improves lockdown pulling your heel into the back of the shoe.

Haven’t had the chance to ball in these, just shot around. These are beastly 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I’m surprised at how cushioned they are for such a small player. I’m 6’2” 235 and these are perfect.
