- This is me, playing my interpretation of "Komm, süßer Tod (Come, Sweet Death) which plays during Third Impact when Instrumentality is initiated in The End of Evangelion.
Originally the song was performed by Arianne and arranged by Shirō Sagisu / 鷺巣 詩郎, backed by piano, pipe-organ and various strings but I couldn't find a good solo piano arrangement so I decided to do one with Synthesia so that you could play it too! Enjoy!

I'm going to be honest here, this is literally my favorite song of all time. Like, this specific piano cover. The OG version was cool, don't get me wrong. But only the piano can really capture the real, true beauty of it. This specific version resonates with my soul on a level that I can't even comprehend. At this point I'm just rambling, so I should probably end this comment soon. Just know: I love you. And everything you do.

I love the original, but man, the little note changes towards the end of this one are SO GOOD! And the last two minutes aren't just the same melody looped, but slowly getting worse. Awesome work!

This video was made 5 years ago but I got recommended it and can’t be anymore thankful. I finished grade 8 for piano three years ago and soon stopped playing as much since it had felt like a chore when I started getting unmotivated. I tried getting back into piano during quarantine but stopped again. Now this ended up on my feed and I immediately decided to learn it, and it makes me want to play piano even more again. Thank you.

Evangelion was an amazing anime I love it so much but it also makes me feel different emotions and it can confuse me at some times like, during the newest movie 3.0+1.0. I really like this song and this piano cover was amazing. I’m going to have a lot of fun playing it!
