Awesome to see you guys covering alternatives to GW here too! Keep it up mixing in alternatives. Maybe consider covering Warzone Eternal, I’m super excited to see Warzone / Mutant Chronicles make a comeback run, but it hardly gets any coverage by the big RUclipsrs as of yet.
I remember visiting Dead Man's Corner in Normandy. On display was an American helmet with a hole. The solder had been shot, the bullet spun around the inside of his hat & dropped out.... definitely made his armour save.
There should be a powerful armour item of a cigarette case carried in the breast pocket, the amount of times the story of just such an heirloom stopping a bullet comes up...! Maybe comes with a probability that any shot by that model can fail due to a coughing fit.

At the start, just for a second I had to check whether Will had "War on Terra" tattooed on his arm in Latin... then I realised what it was 😁 Edit - Also, what a great interview. Nice couple of lads!
This podcast reminded me of when I started my LARP I'm 2013-2018. I struggled with eules balance but eventually had a working game, but it took me 3 years to get to it. Again, good times.

I had the great pleasure of chatting to these lads over a few pints on chillcon eve and they're top class. Really passionate about their game and it shows. It's a fantastic concept and the miniatures look awesome! Thanks for having them on the show! 🤘😎🔥
Props to Peachy for leaning away from the microphone immediately after the podcast starts. Good to see you've learned so much about audio working on Warhammer+.
This video was excellent. So interesting to see both the guys being so open about the process of creating a game and their background. Result, my first Kickstarter backed.
This is wonderful. I checked out their campaign and these fellas come across as a genuine creators with a passion to make something special. Best of luck guys! Do implement the 'nation flags' idea in your game.... But of course, credit the Peach... and Firaxis ;)

Another brilliant video... listening to these guys talk with such passion about their project I wish them all success in the world and it gets launched. makes me wanna get into it.... I wanna paint a human up!!!...where would you get one??
Funny how there's quite a few of us ex military in this hobby. I wonder why... maybe because it's just great for mental health. I struggle with anger management quite a bit sometimes but painting calms me down nicely.
What people forget is that you have to create a giant Lore and Background for your stuff and not just print plastic in china. Building a brand is...expensive.
Saw this game at UKGE. The models were fantastic, especially the alien 'grey-like' models. Wasn't so into the ruleset e.g. look up tables and random die-roll deductions for cover.
One of my friends shoots in the England match rifle team, and she always shoots in the supine position. But she has a rifle that's specially set up for it.

Great chat and wish you all the best. Looks like it's getting some traction on Kickstarter and I will be watching this one. My only worry, and it sounds like you have control over it, is as it continues to grow (which I'm sure it will) is maintaining the balance without the need for FAQ/Updates etc which kills off 40k for me. Looks very professional and honestly wish you all the best with it. Passion is evident and concept looks great

The thing about the D6 is that it’s a familiar and accessible object, as opposed to the D10 or D20, which are a little bit obscure and inaccessible. Whilst it is a wider statistical range and has more potential for differentiation; I think the D6 is one of those minor things that have helped GW’s products to be so established.

Interesting to hear him say the order of the dice rolls in GW is frustrating, but not the *number*. To my mind the sheer quantity of endless rolling is what kills the flow; a combined probability of scoring a wounding hit should be achievable in a single dice roll, especially once you're using D20. GW seem to think a game's quality is directly tied to number of dice rolls per minute, half of most codex's seem to be the conditions under which re-rolls of rolls already made are to be re-rolled, FFS.
