You have successfully felted 2 sweaters. A lot of people do this on purpose to make a dense and warm fabric to make other things with, like mittens. Mittens made out of felted wool are especially nice for winter because there are no holes, so way less chance for the cold air to pass through.
I already knew what was going to happen but seeing those sweaters still cracked me up 😂

Haha 🤣 always hand was alpaca, silk, & mohair 😁 you can machine wash wool but only when it's superwash, it's still recommended to hand wash even superwash wool cuz you'll get a better drape that way 😁 also always hang dry of flat dry these fibers too 😁

If only I could like your video more than once🤣 you had me smiling the whole time! As far as I know about acrylic yarn they get softer after every wash especially if you use fabric softener.

Oh goodness! I hd a sad feeling they would shrink! Im not sure if anyone has mentioned if there is a way to fix it 🥲 but maybe getting it wet any trying to stretch it back out by blocking? Slowly but surely little bit at a time maybe?
You can flip them inside out to avoid the pilling/fuzziness.
