Any thoughts on why my IH built 382 Hydro has a hood that does not have the word "Hydro" on it? It certainly seems original like the rest of the tractor.
I've got an old Jacobson with a Kohler engine on it needs carburetor replacement I wish you would have something like that with a Kohler engine I know Jacobson is no longer made I only gave $100 and got over $500 worth of work out of it
@@motownXJdad9565 Thanks for the heads-up on that Cadet. It is all original and has been sitting in a garage for over 25 years unused. Clean units like that are hard to come by. It was a CCC build tho, I was pretty bummed. If it would have had a IH build tag I would have it. It is a nice survivor, I just wish it would have been a IH built.
Location makes a big diffrence in price. These little Cadets are not as popular as the garden tractors, But they are colletable. They range anywhere from 150.00 to 500.00 from what I have seen. IH built units bring the higher end price. They are not rare, But there are not as common as other Cub Cadets.
@steiger256 Thank you very much! I bought it at an antique sale near me In Virginia and it has sat for the last 15 years in a barn and I have it running perfectly I have a small garden tractor collection I just got into it at the beginning of this year and am having a great time messing with these little guys
Hey man. I’m a big 82 series collector in ny you have anymore ih built 382 hydros for sale or a early build 1282. I recently just found the holy grail and it’s being shipped to me as we speak thank you. Love the videos
I may have a 382 hydro and possibly a 382 gear I may sell. They are not cream puffs by no means, But both IH built units. I need to get my other 382H running first to make sure the hydro is good. What was the holy grail?
I used to find them on Craigslist, But you dont see them on there like you used to. If you are looking for a specific model like a 782D then joining a Facebook group like Cub Cadet diesels or similar group and ask around. There are a few for sale on them groups right now. Thats the best place to find specific models and hard to find parts and accessorys.
