    I purchased the clean side separator for my 2021 and keep in mind the foam-type valve cover had to be removed to seat it properly. No big deal anyway! Great stuff Lethal and UPR!

      I don’t understand what you mean. I have a 21 and I didn’t see any type of foam valve cover. Mine snapped right on with no problem.

    My ‘21 Coyote F150 has been burning oil like crazy, been thinking about getting one of these catch cans for a while now. Good to see how it’s engineered!

      I thought '21+ solved oil burning problem with redesign?

    • @ryandubyah2345
      @ryandubyah2345 Год назад +1

      @@cat5tracker581 I’m not sure about everyone else with the same motor but they didn’t solve it on mine, lol! Maybe it was a Friday truck but it’s been in the shop several times with the motor being torn down, seals & gaskets replaced and still she burns.
      That being said I did put a Roush intake and a custom stainless true dual exhaust on it, so the oil burning might be a side effect of not calibrating the ECM for that

      @@ryandubyah2345 if you can i would get the truck tuned … will probably see less burning and also an increase of angry ponies

      Mines 2022 and have a 2021. Neither burn so far

      Prob isnt through the PCV, put 5w30 in and see if it changes. I have a 2017 and it doesn't burn a single drop of oil on 5k intervals.

    Why is there not a threaded hole in the bottom of the can, to run a valve and a drain hose? Everything else looks good.

    • @Lethalcamp
      @Lethalcamp  Год назад

      Correct. The hole at the bottom of the can is to run a valve for draining the can. It’s an option listed on the product page on our site.

    These things sound like a good idea. But as I keep reading about them as it pertains to factory warranties, it could void the warranty. And they also could cause waste gate issues causing the motor to fail all together. I'm using the word "could" alot because ford won't say anything about it either way

      I had worries like this as well until I ran this setup along with the UPR one way check valve crankcase breather to replace my engine oil cap.

    Will part # 5043-269-1 (clean side separator) work on my 21/22 F150 Roush super charger setup

    • @Lethalcamp
      @Lethalcamp  2 года назад +1

      You'll want to use the UPR-5030-269 or UPR-5030-269-1 for the 21+ with Roush supercharger. The 5043-269 clean side won't benefit you at all unless you're running a can on the other side. The 5043-269 will fit but again won't do much of anything without already having the 5030-269 on the vehicle already. The price on the 5043-269 by itself is $149.99. Let us know if you have any other questions in the meantime.
      Thanks!

      The UPR-5030-269 will work on the 21+ F150 with Roush 2650 supercharger. Please let us know if there's anything else we can help you with in the meantime.

    Will your kit fit a 2018 f150 5.0 ?

    • @Lethalcamp
      @Lethalcamp  2 года назад

      The 18-20 uses a different kit than the 2021. We have them listed under the F150 section for those model years. If you have any other questions or need help placing the order please let us know.

      I live in California and they don't allow oil catch can, it would'nt pass the smog visually so my question is the kit for the 2018 is it easy to install and take off so when it's time for my smog check I can take it off and put my original pcv valve back and then after my smog check I can put the oil catch can back again
