First Airbus British Airways A380-841, reg. G-XLEA, (MSN 095).
The A380 performed a (RTO) rejected take off at (XFW) Airbus Airport Hamburg-Finkenwerder, Germany. It had rained just before the test start.

4th July is the delivery..first flight happened ages ago (e.g plane had to fly to Hamburg for painting).It's also on display in Paris next week.

There's no business case for the 748I out of Heathrow and they didn't want it either. Willie Walsh said it would do nothing to boost passenger count out of that hub on heavily used trunk routes such as LAX, JFK, HKG etc. No point in ceding passenger traffic to the likes of Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Qantas. The 748I is a good product but sadly fails against the A380 as sales of both show.
