- All eyes were on the A350 XWB during its high-profile flight presentation at the 2014 Singapore Airshow. This video clip provides a multi-angle view of the headline-making display, along with a running commentary on the various manoeuvres performed.
I'm a big Boeing fan, but I've gotta say that this is one marvellous piece of machinery! So beautiful and magnificent! My new favourite airplane
Amazing Video! I love the styling of the A350
Gorgeous - Gorgeous - Gorgeous :D
A 350 game changing airliner. Absolute quality.
Awesome! That was exectly the type of video I was expecting from you Airbus. The one who shows the cockpit and the operations during those flight displays. Thank You! :)
Such a beautiful plane.
Wow that is a beautiful aircraft.
What a beauty
Great landing .
Great ,interesting video ,
COOL VIDEO!
;-)
Wow... awesome video... although I can care less about the plane. I do not think that it will pass the dreamliner, but it will come close
The A350 knocks the shit out of the 787
Dear Mr Boeing, THIS is how you make an all new jetliner
Really? How a new airplane is made? This is just a bunch of cameras put in a smart way to show how the plane handles and looks like in a flight... I would say a very smart "marketing" tool nothing more.
You miss my point. This video won't sell any additional a359s.
The A350 programme had a humble launch and it has had no delay in its design and manufacture thus far. Compare that with the "Dreamliner's" programme: 5 years late iirc and despite great sales needs about another 500 sales or so to break even.
Either way I hope the best for the future of both Airbus and Boeing.. Airlines need at least two manufacturers competing. A monopoly would be terrible.
Minoxi Dean.... Well, great view and I agree with you. It is good this competition spirit and as you say, to avoid monopoly. Now, Forbes magazine tends to disagree with you, Boeing is already seen revenues from making the 787. The program in itself was crazy considering the amount of other external companies being involved in the program.
I think most aircraft manufactures have at least one company in competition with them.
Eg. Gulfstream and Bombardier (Corporate jets), Embraer and Bombardier (Regional jets), Airbus and Boeing (obviously), Cessna and Cirrus (Single-engine piston), and a few others.
Now Is AZUL BRAZILIAN AIRLINES..TANKS!!!!!!!
Airbus+ do you use rudder to bank your tight turn in low speed maneuver? sometimes, not often, but i see some doing it...but couldn't tell if it parts of the maneuver for tight turns...
Watch your back Boeing
Why such comment... I do not think that it is a superior plane than the 787...it could be a close alternative, but not a better plane.
787 full of technical problems
Steven Alex .. the only one I know is the battery thing.. you know of any others?
I believe that manufacturing issues also exist something about supply line
Steven Alex ... that's not a problem is just trying to coordinate that all pieces get on time so ensambly can continute without delays....that's not a plane problem.... it is just ensamblying synchronization.
I'm American, but damned if the French don't make beautiful and amazing airplanes. Commercial, that is. Dassault is a joke. But I would take any Airbus over any Boeing. Boeings are crude, but easier to work on. I'd take an A320 over a 737, a A330 over a 767, an A340 over a 747 (this one is the closest call), and the A350 beats the PANTS off the 787.
yea on point good sir, & I agree 747 tough to beat wit the 340, I'll be a close call
