Thanks for posting this. I finally pulled the trigger and ordered this model. Was decently priced at $38 for the Rescue Red.
I don't know whether yours is exactly the same as the one I ordered, but the details from the Amazon site indicate the following:
"Please Note: The Travel Mug can only use the Stronghold Lid and the Stronghold Lid won’t fit other Rambler Drinkware models. The Travel Mug Stronghold Lid has 4 placement options and plays nice with both righties and lefties."
Awesome! I think you’ll love it! Sounds like it’s the same as this one because I believe the lid I have clicks into place in 4 different alignments
Can I use the straw lid with this? I bought a 20 oz travel mug but having issues with the straw lid 😅
I don’t have one of the straw lids but it says if you have the 20 oz rambler and 20oz straw lid should be compatible. Just having issues with it fitting?
@@makeitranereviews I noticed it won’t twist because the cup has ridges. I guess it’s only for the tumblers themselves and not mugs it’s more like a push on. I’d have to get the size 25. Thank you for replying though
@@emmeauoh okay, thanks for the update!
How is it with carbonated drinks
Never tried it with anything except coffee and tea, sorry can’t help you on that one.
What about the gasket? You have to clean that too. And I heard carbonated drinks can leech the metal and make you sick.
Yes you can clean the gasket. I only use mine for tea and coffee so not sure about the carbonated drinks.
This is from Yetis website - YETI® Drinkware is over-engineered. Our stainless steel Tumblers, Bottles, Colster® Can Insulators, Mugs, Wine Tumblers, Stackable Pints and Jugs are designed with double-wall vacuum insulation, and a No Sweat™ Design. The tumblers will keep your soda, beer, wine, and mixed drinks ice cold.
A side note Yeti say not to use carbonated drinks with any of the rambler bottles that the lid can be screwed on and sealed as pressure can build up which could be dangerous when taking the lid off, it’s got nothing to do with the metal reacting.
Can I drink beer with this model?
Haha I don’t see why not!?
Ozark is better and cheaper my yeti didmt keepn nothing hot
Reallly? That’s strange mine keeps my coffee or tea hot for 2-4 hours!
@@makeitranereviews maybe mine came defected never work had bad experience with yeti will never buy one again just mine thought
@@jrc202 very possible! We have multiple yeti products and absolutely LOVE them! They are pricey though sorry to hear you had a bad first experience with them!
