For those still exploring this area, try heading about 1000-1100px away from the core. I can't say for sure, but it seemed like the battle arena were more frequent around there. I also used the Galaxite Chakram, which made the challenge easier.

new to the game. I just find one in Azeos wilderness didn't even know it was a challenge arena. I will go back when i become stronger. At least i got some nice stuff from rooms around arena
Is this bugged for me? I've died a few times trying to do it, but now it's just continuously spawning in the turret cat things before I even start. Like they keep spawning forever, then now when I attempt, there are like 6x as many mobs as there should be during the fight.
they dont reset but there is a mod that you can use to pay 1000 coins to reset the fight. at this time tho that mod breaks cranes and conveyers as well as drills
@@Truefacts-j5y Sapphires drop off of mimites and the hydra bosses now. I recommend setting up a crystal crust mob farm and also farming the hydra bosses.
There is no mob cap so if you afk in an area a lot it ends up like that Or at least used to, The ocean biome around my beta mob farm doesnt have a single coast tile that doesnt have a tentacle on it

maybe. I play mostly on hardmode so its possible they are harder to find the harder the world mode.

no seed. This video was made during early access and was before the game used a seed system for world generation.

this video is outdated. the shimmering frontier stuff spawns at about 900 tiles out now.
