3 mm cotton cord - 70 meters (225ft)
Wooden dowel - 35 cm (14in)

Beautiful idea.
But! There is probably mistake in longitude of each cord - as wasn't actually enough.
And you do not show endings, you just cut and thats it? Or what? How it looks in tge end?
So.. macrame has become my favourite craft because of your tutorials! I’m on my fourth one, having never done macrame in my life. They aren’t as beautiful as yours but I’m learning. I didn’t have enough cord to do my 5th flower but I learned how to add cords. I can’t wait to gift this one to my daughter!
I've completed two of these wall hangings now, one with 8 and 10 foot cords - still too short - and the last one all with 12 ft. cords which seems to be a good length - no worries about running out of cord. Love the way it turned out!

Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial! I'm 70 years old and just now getting into macrame. I was inspired by this tutorial and made it my first project. It was so much fun - until I ran out of cord! Actually, it was good practice for me and I don't mind starting again with longer cord this time. My question is, how would you suggest finishing this piece at the bottom - cut straight across, angled or uneven? Maybe it's just a matter of preference, but I'd love to see the full view.

I ran out of cord in most spots and couldn’t finish this :/
Unfortunately, it was the same for me. However, there is a super easy way to lengthen yarn that is too short. Especially with the spiral knots. Look here on RUclips, there are tutorials about it.
У меня ощущение незавершённости этого панно. Не хватает рядов внизу.

ВНИМАНИЕ: отрезайте шнур намного длиннее! Я отрезала, как указано в уроке, и панно закончилось на последнем цветке, т.е. на третьем ряду (отдельные шнуры)!!! Но и других шнуров явно бы не хватило на весь рисунок. Моя ошибка в том, что я не прочитала комментарии на иностранных языках, там многие пишут об этой проблеме

I'm going to have to get creative with this one as the measurements are so way off I ran out of cord before I could finish the 5th flower at the bottom. I'm going to have to super glue the stubs of the cords that are left to the back of the project and find another knot besides the spiral knot as I don't have enough cord to do them. I'm discovering that there seems to be a miscommunication with measurements between languages and anyone who wants to do this project needs to cut their cords at about 10 feet or more. I cut mine as 8 feet and it was still too short.
Is there a chance you used different size of the cord? 🙂 These measurements are for 3 mm cord as I state at the tutorial
@@MacramePrincess Yeah, I used 3mm cord from ganxxet.
Same thing happened to me but I watched a tutorial on how to add cords.. no glue required and it was very easy to add.
@@Scenicridgefarm cool! I should learn to do that. I just fringed out all the cords below the flowers and added transparent glass beads so it sparkles in the sun. turned out different and awesome.
I used 3mm and the same measurements listed and also ran out after the 2nd row so now I’m stuck with this messed up looking thing and wasted tons of cord
